We were lucky to catch up with Kashaveli recently and have shared our conversation below.

Kashaveli, so good to have you with us today. We’ve got so much planned, so let’s jump right into it. We live in such a diverse world, and in many ways the world is getting better and more understanding but it’s far from perfect. There are so many times where folks find themselves in rooms or situations where they are the only ones that look like them – that might mean being the only woman of color in the room or the only person who grew up in a certain environment etc. Can you talk to us about how you’ve managed to thrive even in situations where you were the only one in the room?

Being the only one in the room that looks like me is the story of my life. As an artist and corporate professional, there’s not many that can relate to my daily tasks and hustles. Due to this slight discrepancy I made it my goal to be a life-long learner. My path so far has been full of jumps, twists, and turns – from finding my purpose in the midst of pursuing a degree. To graduating and becoming a corporate professional while actively being a rockstar, I never lacked on learning from any position I’ve had; musically and in the corporate space. Creating a welcoming space to others results in productivity and this is how I achieved success and still pursue it till this day.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m Kashaveli an artist out of NC (Charlotte currently) and I focus on creating music that brings people together through energy, emotion, and real-life moments. My sound blends melodic rap and smooth vibes with storytelling that reflects my journey and mindset.

Right now, I’m all about pushing my latest single Swing My Way. It’s a smooth, melodic track made for late-night drives and mellow moments — all about keeping your head cool in a crazy world. This drop really sets the stage for what’s next, with my upcoming single Locked In ready to take things up a notch.

At the end of the day, I just want people to press play and feel something real — whether they’re cruising, chilling, or just vibing out. That’s the energy I’m on with every song I make.

I’m building something real, a sound and vibe my fans can vibe out to, any day and time.
