Meet Kasi Farver

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kasi Farver. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Kasi, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I found my purpose in my pain. I’ve struggled with menstrual cramps for 19 years, ever since I was around 12 years old. Through that journey, I realized I wasn’t the only one who had gone through the kind of pain I experienced—physically, emotionally, mentally and sometimes silently. That understanding opened my eyes to something bigger: girls everywhere were navigating similar challenges, some without the support, guidance, or education they deserved.

And from there, my purpose expanded. What began as a desire to help girls understand their bodies and navigate menarche grew into a mission to support their whole selves—mind, body, confidence, and future. I realized that preparing girls for womanhood meant so much more than addressing one aspect of their lives. It meant creating safe spaces, offering essential resources, building confidence, teaching life skills, preparing them inside and outside of school and empowering them to discover who they are and who they want to become.

My pain led me to my purpose. And that purpose is through PHN.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Professionally, I am the Founder and CEO of PrepareHER Now, a nonprofit dedicated to preparing the whole girl—mind, body, and spirit. My work is centered around creating safe, empowering spaces for girls ages 8–18, especially those who may not have access to the resources, mentorship, and education they need to navigate girlhood and womanhood confidently.

I realized without my pain and experience, PrepareHER Now never would’ve been born, at least not by me anyway. As I grew older, I realized that girls everywhere were going through the same challenges—physically, emotionally, mentally—and many were doing so without guidance or support. That pain sparked my purpose. And that purpose has evolved into a movement that supports girls holistically, not just in understanding their bodies, but in becoming confident young women.

Today, our programs focus on mental health, menstrual health, personal development, suicide prevention, social media awareness, confidence building, leadership, physical wellness, and providing girls with the essential tools they need to feel seen, supported, and strong. Everything we do is rooted in preparing girls for womanhood in a way that is accessible, relatable, and empowering.

We also recognize that it truly takes a village to raise a child, and because of that, PrepareHER Now doesn’t only serve girls—we also support the parents and guardians who walk alongside them. We offer a dedicated program for parents that provides education, resources, and a supportive community to help them feel empowered and equipped as they raise confident, prepared, young women. Some of our events are intentionally created for both our girls and their guardians, giving them shared experiences that strengthen their relationships, deepen communication, and build connection. When the village is strong, the girl is strong—and our mission is to serve the whole family, not just the participant.

One of the most exciting parts of our work is the impact we see in real time. Girls who once walked into our spaces unsure of themselves begin to stand taller. They speak more boldly. They discover new passions. They feel heard. Watching them grow into who they are becoming is one of the greatest honors of my life.

We also have exciting things happening in 2026. We are launching the year with two signature events:

✨ January 2, 2026 – Sip & Paste: 3D Vision Board Experience
Hosted in partnership with Girls With A Vision, this event gives girls the opportunity to dream boldly, get creative, explore who they are, and set intentional goals for the new year.

✨ January 17, 2026 – PHN x SOAR: Health & Wellness Experience
A high-energy, confidence-building fitness event that teaches girls how to prioritize mental and physical wellness in fun, engaging ways.

Both events are part of our larger mission to create year-round programming that supports every layer of a girl’s growth.
As PrepareHER Now expands, we remain committed to being a safe place for girls to learn, express themselves, and receive the resources they need to thrive. My hope is that every girl who joins PrepareHER Now walks away knowing: You are powerful. You are capable. You are HER.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

1. Clarity of Purpose
Understanding why this work mattered was foundational. A clear sense of purpose guided decisions, sustained momentum during challenges, and kept the mission centered on impact rather than optics.
Advice: Spend time defining your “why” early. Write it down (write the vision and make it plain), revisit it often, and allow it to anchor your choices as you grow. When things feel overwhelming, purpose provides direction and resilience.

2. Willingness to Learn and Adapt
Growth required humility—being open to learning, asking questions, and adjusting along the way. No part of this journey was built alone or without refinement.
Advice: Stay curious and coachable. Seek mentors, listen to feedback, and don’t be afraid to evolve. Progress comes from learning in motion, not waiting to feel fully prepared.

3. Courage to Start Before Everything Was Perfect
Taking action despite uncertainty made the biggest difference. Waiting for perfection would have delayed impact and limited growth. For me, I had a plan of how I envisioned things would work and it was completely different than the plan that God had for me and this organization.
Advice: Start where you are with what you have. Momentum builds clarity. Trust that refinement comes through doing, not waiting. There will never be a perfect time to start. Just start.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

The most impactful things my parents did for me were introducing me to who God is, never giving up on me, and consistently praying for me. They provided a foundation of faith that continues to guide how I live, lead, and navigate challenges. Just as importantly, they held me accountable—loving me enough to correct me, challenge me, and expect growth. That balance of grace, discipline, and unwavering support shaped my resilience, character, and commitment to purpose.
