Meet Kati Hampton

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kati Hampton. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kati below.

Kati, thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?

I have learned to find my confidence in the outcomes I see with my clients. Practicing natural medicine can feel like going against the grain, and I have faced a lot of doubt and questions along the way. What keeps me steady is seeing the changes my clients experience and knowing the work is making a difference. I have learned that the people who doubt me do not define me. The results and the people I serve do.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am a board-certified doctor of naturopathy and my focus is on helping women get to the root of what is weighing them down by combining physical support with energetic care. This approach gives my clients truly holistic care and often helps them finally feel like themselves again. This can include complimentary alternative medicine tools like herbal and homeopathic remedies, lifestyle recommendations, and biofeedback sessions.

So many of the women I work with come to me feeling dismissed, frustrated, and out of answers. They have tried to push through on their own but still feel like something is missing. What excites me most is seeing the shift that happens when we work on both the emotional patterns and the physical symptoms together. When we bring that emotional piece into balance, everything else can finally start to move in the right direction.

Right now, I am reopening my signature program, Recenter and Reconnect, which combines energetic and physical approaches into a clear plan for clients who are ready for change. You can find more information about this program at heartfullivingwellness.com.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The first is learning to trust my intuition while still grounding it in evidence and client outcomes. That balance has guided every decision I make.

The second is persistence. Building a wellness practice that goes against the grain of conventional care has meant staying the course even when others doubted what I was doing.

The third is communication. Learning how to explain natural medicine in a way that makes sense to someone who may be hearing about it for the first time has been key to helping my clients feel safe and supported.

For anyone early in their journey, my advice is to stay curious, keep learning, and be patient with yourself. Build your confidence by paying attention to the results you see, not just the opinions around you.

How would you describe your ideal client?

My ideal client is a woman who is tired of feeling unheard and is ready to finally get answers. She may be dealing with fatigue, hormone changes, digestive struggles, or just feeling like she has lost touch with herself. She has usually tried conventional approaches and left feeling frustrated or dismissed. I love working with clients who are curious, committed, and ready to take an active role in their own wellness.
