We recently connected with Katie Vinther and have shared our conversation below.

Katie , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

As a child, I was deeply intuitive, but over time, I experienced a suppression of those skills. I began to return to my gifts and my spiritual journey after experiencing the loss of my niece about 10 years ago. My world turned upside down. I didn’t know what I believed anymore, how to move forward, nothing made sense. I had heavy grief and deep healing to navigate. I found a Yoga practice, and an amazing place (called The Healing Studio) and people who helped me in many different ways to find new footing in a world that would never be the same. After finding how beneficial and rewarding this work can be, I decided to follow the call I felt to help others find the same peace I have found in my own personal healing journey, in their own lives, This led me to opening my energy healing practice in 2020. I feel a deep connection to crystals and their healing properties and work with them in a personal and client based setting. I am very passionate about helping others find the magic they can benefit from by working with these magical beings too, which is why I opened my crystal/metaphysical shop in 2023.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I am an Intuitive, Holy Fire™ III Karuna Reiki Master, and a Level III Energy Awareness Practitioner and have been practicing Energy Healing work since 2015. I am always learning and growing!

What I do in sessions is a combination of intuition and different tools I have learned throughout the years. During a session I intuitively connect with your energy and listen to what your system is asking for at that time.

Once I have connected with you and you have shared what you are wanting from your session, I use a combination of healing modalities including Energy Healing, Reiki, Crystals, Oracle Cards, Sound Healing, and Aromatherapy to serve you best. I work to remove energetic blocks, physical discomfort, stress, anxiety, stagnant energy and more. I will work to bring in clarity, peace, grounding, and healing on a physical, mental, and spiritual level

I work to help people find healing and balance; to feel peaceful and calm and move into the best version of themselves as they are ready. I deeply value being a guide to help people live their best lives.

I feel a deep connection to crystals and their healing benefits. I have worked with them for years and this connection has inspired me to open a crystal shop in addition to my healing practice. Shine Your Light- Healing Gems and Crystals, is a metaphysical shop committed to bringing high vibrational items together for our customers. We have a wide range of items including crystals, jewelry, oracle & tarot decks, wood and stone carvings, energy sprays, energy clearing tools, sound bowls, incense, and more. You are sure to find the perfect items to meet you where you are. We have many affordable items as well as many statement pieces. I love helping others find the tools that are just right for them!

I am hosting Full-Moon Gatherings- currently this event is happening quarterly and will feature a live DJ, Food truck, many fun vendors to shop, fun services to receive, and the crystal shop will be open to shop! All information for these events can be found on my website under the event tab.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Resilience, community, & change. Knowing that I wanted to be the best version of myself, not only for myself but for my child, and being willing to do the work has gotten me through to where I am now. I found an amazing and supportive community of like-minded people who are also doing the work. I am fortunate and have a great supportive partner. Change is key! It is not always comfortable, sometimes its crunchy, heavy. and feels impossible, but if you keep allowing yourself to grow and change there is so much more available to you than you can see when you are in the deep of it all.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

My ideal client is someone who is curious about energy, what they can accomplish in their life by tapping into the unseen energies that we can use to heal ourselves in so many ways. Someone who wants to begin or continue their healing journey and will do the work it takes on their part to accomplish their healing goals; knowing that I am here to support them in all the ways I can. but ultimately our healing is our own responsibility and we can heal ourselves. Also, people who are curious about stones and metaphysical tools and how they can utilize them and benefit by incorporating them into their daily lives; or people who are well versed crystal collectors and are already familiar with the magic these tools can offer and would like to connect with my shop.
