Meet Katrice Peterson Feild

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Katrice Peterson Feild. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Katrice, so great to have you on the platform. There’s so much we want to ask you, but let’s start with the topic of self-care. Do you do anything for self-care and if so, do you think it’s had a meaningful impact on your effectiveness?

For self-care, I love listening to music, playing the piano, attending concerts, singing, dancing, arranging and writing music. I also like physical fitness and playing volleyball. Ensuring that I have this balance has a positive impact in my professional and personal relationships.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am a practicing attorney in Memphis, TN. My law firm, Turner Feild, specializes in real estate, litigation, economic development, personal injury, probate and estate planning, bankruptcy and business law. I also enjoy working pro bono for those who are underserved in the community. When I’m not practicing law, I sing professionally, namely with the Memphis Chamber Singers and Memphis Symphony Chorus. I am also the 2025 Memphis Soul Country Music Star and will be competing for the national title in Hollywood in November 2025. I also play co-ed recreational volleyball. Most importantly, I am the proud Mom to my daughter, Karmin Danae.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Being self sufficient, confident and always willing to learn from others has most the greatest impact in my journey. I have also been able to take the lead on assignments and work with much autonomy which is necessary for owning your own business. Further, you must exude confidence so that your clients feel comfortable in knowing you will have the expertise to handle their case. Lastly, but most important, taking advice from those who paved the way has been a blessing in my journey. The advice that I have received has helped in some form or fashion in my life, and I am always open to honest stories and constructive criticism.

I am always looking to connect with anyone in the real estate and lending industry to serve as counsel on real estate closings.
