We recently connected with Katsiaryna and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Katsiaryna, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I’ve always believed that beauty isn’t just what we see — it’s how we live. It’s the way a woman holds herself when everything around her is falling apart. It’s choosing to show up radiant, even on the darkest days. For me, beauty is a quiet strength. It’s elegance in resistance. It’s wearing a perfect nude manicure while rebuilding your life from scratch.
Since I was young, I’ve been fascinated by the power of details — soft hands, clean lines, subtle glow. I used to joke that if I were ever sinking, I’d sink gracefully — with a fresh set of nails and a touch of perfume. But in truth, that’s who I am. No matter what life throws at me, I meet it with beauty, because that’s how I feel most like myself.
Over time, I realized that my obsession with aesthetics wasn’t superficial — it was spiritual. I saw how beauty could transform people. How a small moment of care could turn into confidence, how a manicure could become a ritual of self-love.
And that’s why I opened my own nail salon — nail.artique, right in the heart of Beverly Hills. It’s more than a salon. It’s a sanctuary where beauty is not just seen, but deeply felt. A space where every woman can walk in as she is — and leave as art.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m the founder of nail.artique, a Beverly Hills-based nail studio, and I’ve been in the beauty industry for over six years. At our studio, we bring a high-end European approach to nail care in Los Angeles — where self-care isn’t just a service, but a full aesthetic and emotional experience.
I oversee every aspect of the business: from selecting and training our team to implementing advanced techniques and maintaining strict quality control. All of our artists are certified professionals, skilled in the latest nail technologies — from precise hardware manicures to intricate design work. I make sure every service meets the highest standards of hygiene, precision, and visual beauty.
My work also extends beyond operations. I focus on building the brand, collaborating with influencers, and creating a strong community of women who value not only results, but also the atmosphere. nail.artique isn’t just a salon — it’s a place you want to come back to, where comfort, quality, and a sense of belonging come together.
What sets us apart:
— A true European standard of care: clean, detailed, refined
— A cozy, Instagram-worthy atmosphere — like a chic café, but with the best nails
— A personalized approach and real attention to every client
— A team that’s constantly growing: we hold regular trainings, follow industry trends, and push for excellence
But above all, we truly listen to our clients. I believe the most important part of what we do isn’t just how good it looks — it’s how understood someone feels. That’s why communication is one of the most valuable skills I continue to grow every single day.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, I can say with confidence that the most important thing that helped me build a successful business and grow a loyal client base was my ability to truly connect with people. Communication has been the foundation of everything. I never saw my clients as just appointments — I always tried to understand them, to feel their mood, to listen not just to their words, but to what’s behind them. That kind of emotional intelligence — knowing how to hear someone without needing to argue or push — helped me build trust. And trust, in my experience, is more powerful than any marketing strategy.
Another key factor was staying loyal to my values. I’ve never been the type of person who focused solely on profit. From the beginning, my intention was simple: to provide women with high-quality, professional nail care and create a space where they felt cared for. When people feel that your priority is them, not the money — they come back. They sense your honesty, and they appreciate it.
Of course, none of this matters without true professionalism. You can’t build long-term relationships without being great at what you do. That means mastering your craft, staying up to date with techniques, knowing your products, and being able to explain your choices with clarity and confidence. Clients respect that — they feel when they’re in good hands.
If I had to give one piece of advice to someone just starting out, it would be this: don’t just learn how to do nails — learn how to care. Develop your emotional awareness, your ability to listen, your ability to make people feel safe and seen. That’s what builds loyalty. That’s what turns a first-time client into someone who never wants to go anywhere else.
Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
Over the past 12 months, our studio Nail.Artique has gone through an incredible stage of growth. We moved into a much larger space and completed a full renovation in a clean, modern European style — with careful attention to detail, aesthetics, and comfort. The goal was to create more than just a salon, but an inspiring and stylish environment where every client feels truly cared for.
Our team has tripled in size — not only in numbers but also in skill. We’ve raised our quality standards, expanded our range of services, and started working with a growing number of high-profile clients, including influencers, public figures, and well-known bloggers whose trust means the world to us.
In addition to growing the studio, I also launched my own nail technician training program. I now teach not only the specialists within Nail.Artique, but also mentor beginner artists who are just starting their journey in the industry. Supporting new talent and helping them build a strong foundation based on skill, care, and professionalism has become one of the most meaningful parts of my work.
As a result of this steady growth, Nail.Artique is now ranked among the top 3 most-visited nail studios in Beverly Hills offering premium Russian-style manicures. For us, that recognition isn’t just a status symbol — it’s proof that when professionalism, service, and beauty come together with heart, clients feel it. And they come back for it again and again.
