Meet Kayce Broach

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kayce Broach. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kayce below.

Kayce, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I was lucky enough to find some great trainers and instructors that poured i to me. I have always had fitness somewhere in my life.
After leaving retail I decided I liked fitness enough to become a trainer. God has opened so many doors for me on this journey I know it is where He wants me to be.
I get joy from helping clients gain confidence, like the way they look, and learn healthier habits around food and fitness. God has helped me grow and learn so much to help my clients.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Specialist, and Fatloss Coach. I bring the gym to my clients. I meet them where they are at on their journey, and help them get to their future goals. I am different because we talk about gratitude, non-scale victories, and ways to improve their relationship with food and fitness.

I think functional and holistic health comes first. Doing everything we can before medicine or surgery are needed. Then working with those if/when they are needed to get clients back to enjoying and truly living their life.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

For me being a “chameleon” as a trainer to be what my clients need in the moment (i.e. cheerleader, drill Sargent, etc) is my most valued skill. Learning how hormones and food work together to help us in our health and wellness journey is more important than just working out. Being transparent with clients about goals, needs, and helping them mentally and physically can be so impactful on them and myself.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?

When running your own business and starting in a new city can be overwhelming to the point of feeling like you are drowning. Having a wonderful faith community to talk, pray, and guide me back to God’s path has been so important. I have learned to surround myself with wonderful solopreneurs that help me talk through business issues and make sure I am on that right path as well.
Surrounding yourself with people that are experts in their field and can help you navigate the business side while I focus in growth, clients, and doing God’s plan for my life.
