Meet Kaye Fox

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kaye Fox a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kaye , we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
I feel that my confidence came from growing up in the church and also in a family that is not easily impressed. It caused me to develop a hunger to know more about my craft and to find different ways to do what I love. In church you could be called up to the mic and put on the spot to sing, speak, or teach at any moment. That taught me to always be prepared. Improv is the heart of service. They call it knowing how to flow. And if you’re tapped in, your anointed ti do it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m an artist and creative. I am focused on music and also a series that I’m developing that I am dropping soon. My single “On Time” is up first. It’s dropping Sept. 5th and will be available on all streaming platforms. I’m also preparing to release a YouTube series “The Fox Frequency”. The series is focused on maintaining your sense of peace and sanity for those that work in the field of arts and entertainment.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Number 1 always have fun. I decided to do music because it brought me joy. So maintaining that sense of childlike wonder is key. Number 2 know who you are. Although we are constantly changing, you want to have a sense of who you are at the present moment. If you don’t someone will give you who are are to be. Number three remain detached. Never get too caught up in something going a specific way. Most of the time things are gonna go slightly to massively different than you thought. Almost always when you’re detached things come out better.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
There are so many but I will say that Think and Grow Rich was the beginning of my understanding of metaphysics, which ultimately changed my entire trajectory.

1. That it’s all about your mindset. I ultimately learned that the universe is mental So what you believe is true for you will be true for you. Positive or negative.

2. You have to be fully confident about what you want to be, do, or have. Your confidence is an act of faith that no matter what things look like, you KNOW the outcome will happen.

3. Know that you can be do and have whatever you desire. There are no limits other than the ones you put on yourself.
