We were lucky to catch up with Kefas Brand recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kefas, so happy you were able to devote some time to sharing your thoughts and wisdom with our community. So, we’ve always admired how you have seemingly never let nay-sayers or haters keep you down. Can you talk to us about how to persist despite the negative energy that so often is thrown at folks trying to do something special with their lives?

I find my haters the best thing that happened or happens to me for they find my imperfections and that helps me correct and that way I’m always getting better thanks to them. So personally I love my haters and I don’t get bothered by the negativity that comes with them rather get inspired to get better.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I am Rodney Kefas Namisi also known Professionally as Kefas Brand. Im an actor and I loved acting since I was a kid. That made me love Tv and the Th personalities hence the love to be on Tv and that led me to pursue acting as a career from a young age. I picked inspiration from actors like Hugh Jackman, Jack Griffo and some WWE superstars like John Cena. I love acting as an Art and love to see creativity in production and acting aswell.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Resilience and ambition kept me going. It’s not easy being in this industry for its very competitive and aggressive, that way the Obstacles are many leading to survival only to the fittest. So with persistent and determination any one can make out hill in the Film industry

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?

Learning new languages which is essential in this industry but I try as hard as I can to learn and master new languages every time I get the opportunity. But it’s not easy I can say learning a new language at this age.
