We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Keino Spring. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Keino below.
Keino, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from growing up on the Caribbean Island of St Vincent and the Grenadines. Giving up was never an option and working hard and giving your all was greatly valued.
Growing up in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, life was very hands-on. Everything was done manually, and that’s where I learned the value of hard work and the importance of showing up when you’re supposed to. Complaining wasn’t an option—there was no other way forward—so resilience became second nature.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m Keino Spring, known as The Vincy Realtor here in Memphis. I grew up in the Caribbean on the island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, where life taught me resilience, hard work, and the importance of always showing up. That foundation drives the way I serve my clients today—with honesty, consistency, and kindness. But more than anything, it’s my family that fuels my purpose and passion. They are my ‘why’ behind everything I do.
As a husband and father, I know firsthand how important it is to create stability and opportunity through homeownership. My family has been my biggest support system and motivation, and that’s why helping other families through one of the biggest milestones of their lives means so much to me. Nothing excites me more than watching a client—often with their children by their side—walk into a home they once thought was out of reach. That moment never gets old because it reminds me of the joy and security I want for my own family.
As a full-time Realtor with Harris & Harris Realty Group, my brand is about making the process smooth, strategic, and stress-free while building long-term relationships, not just closing deals. Right now, I’m focused on helping 50 families achieve their real estate goals by the end of 2025.
I’m also expanding my presence on social media to showcase Memphis real estate, culture, and lifestyle. Outside of my real estate channels, I started a TikTok account called MemphisIsBeautiful, where I highlight the best things about our city. It’s not just about houses—it’s about community, and my family is at the heart of why I love building that connection.
Looking ahead, I plan to add an assistant to support my clients even better and continue to grow my market share in Shelby, DeSoto, and Marshall counties. At the end of the day, my mission is simple: help people achieve homeownership while leaving a legacy as a family man who cared deeply, worked tirelessly, and always put people first.
I believe in what Zig Ziglar says; “You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.”

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three qualities that had the biggest impact on my journey were resilience, consistency, and people skills. I learned this from being in automobile sales for 20 years before becoming a realtor.
Resilience came from growing up in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, where life was hands-on and nothing came easy. That environment taught me how to push forward without complaining, even when things weren’t ideal. In real estate, deals fall through, clients change their minds, and the market shifts—being resilient keeps you in the game long enough to win.
Consistency is the second key. Success in real estate doesn’t come from one big action; it’s the small, daily habits—making calls, following up, staying visible on social media—that build momentum over time. When things get tough, consistency separates the ones who succeed from the ones who quit too early.
And finally, people skills. Real estate is less about houses and more about people. Listening, communicating clearly, and building trust has been just as important as knowing contracts and comps. Clients don’t remember every detail of the process, but they always remember how you made them feel.
For anyone early in their journey, my advice is simple: develop resilience by embracing challenges instead of avoiding them, build consistency by creating non-negotiable daily habits, and sharpen your people skills by genuinely listening and caring. If you can master those three, the technical knowledge will follow, but you’ll already be ahead of most.
Show up and show up consistently.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
The person who has been most helpful to me in overcoming challenges is actually not just one person:
My mom showed me what it truly means to do whatever it takes for your family. When I was a teenager, she migrated from the sunny Caribbean to the ice-cold city of Toronto, Canada, just to give my siblings and me a better life. I never once heard her complain or express regret—only strength and determination.
My Uncle Clinton was the greatest example of genuine care. He always encouraged me, offered wise advice, and supported me in every way he could. Losing him in 2013 was one of the hardest moments of my life, but the lessons he left behind continue to guide me whenever I face challenges.
My wife, Betsy, has been my constant encourager, standing by me and supporting me in more ways than I could ever put into words.
And my children—Keilese, Kylah, and Kaleb—are my biggest motivation. On the days I’ve wanted to give up, I’ve drawn from the work ethic I learned from my mom and pushed through, knowing I have to set the example and make sure they’re always taken care of.
