We recently connected with Kellan Spears and have shared our conversation below.
Kellan , thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
I have a heart and dream too stubborn to quit. But once the helmet visor drops, all that matters is the line I take through the corner — the proof that passion and skill can succeed, if only given a chance.
Coming from a middle class family, I’ve found success not through privilege, but through the sacrifices and support of family, friends, and sponsors who believe in me. Every race is a reflection of the support behind me — and a reminder that heart and perseverance can move you forward.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Through racing, I’ve been given the opportunity to work with local and quality businesses that I’m proud to represent and support. Unlike traditional team sports sponsorships, this is more than just a logo or a banner — it’s a true partnership. Together, we build connections through social media, website features, in-person events, and community engagement. Every collaboration is about creating mutual growth and genuine relationships, both on and off the track.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Throughout my racing journey, I’ve learned three lessons that continue to shape who I am both on and off the track. The first is patience — understanding that success in racing, like in life, takes time, discipline, and consistency. The second is risk versus reward — knowing when to push the limits and when to play the long game, a balance that is often hard. Finally, humility — staying grounded and respectful no matter the outcome, because every race is a new opportunity to learn. Along the way, I am developing communication and media skills, becoming comfortable on camera and in interviews, which helps me connect with fans, sponsors, and the racing community.
My best advice for someone early in their racing journey is simple — try it! Start by listening, learning, and applying what you pick up along the way. Most importantly, enjoy every moment of it. You will gain something from the experience!

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
We enjoy working with local, regional and national businesses that we can believe in and actively promote. Our partnerships often include automotive, racing, financial services, food and beverage brands that share our values. Sharing values is very important! Each collaboration is more than just a sponsorship — it’s a partnership built on mutual growth, visibility, and shared passion.
