Meet Kelli Christina

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kelli Christina. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Kelli with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I was born in Sioux City, Iowa and a daughter of four children with Midwest blood. I was born and raised with work ethics, brains, ambition from a hardworking, smart and rather large Catholic family on both sides. My Dad’s side of the family and the Dennehey family were military, pilots, Air Force and the Air Guard services. My grandparents Bob and Sybil Dennehey owned apartment buildings on the side of business. The military background taught me at a young age to keep things in order, clean, tidy and in the best shape towards anything you own. Work hard for anything you want to accomplishment in life.

My mom’s side of the family was the Uhl family. Her dad, Maurice Uhl, built, founded and owned a famous midwest turkey farm called “UhlTide Turkey Farm” going very strong in the 1960’s, 1970’s and rolling. My grandfather by personality was a fun, real and cool man. As a little girl, I never realized that he was famous and wealthy by his personality and ability to laugh. He just loved children and his large family. Maurice was in the newspapers often and some of his children. He could work seven days a week but always pulled over for church, fun activities and his family. My grandmother Phyllis died when my mother was in high school and this traumatized my mother at a young age. There were twelve children in the family at that time and my step grandmother Florence would take over and add her children to the family. My mom is a conservative and she always wants to be remembered for her own hard work and life success.

The way you were raised often defines your own career and path to success. We would move to Texas when I was the age of twelve years and never forget Texas. It’s a big state with a warm culture, warm weather, friendly personalities and hard working smart people .

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
My brand represents achieving great success in both business and life while operating with honesty, integrity and transparency. Do the right things and obey all the laws. Take care of your team and the people that surround you including our communities. If you want people to be successful, then you have to set them up for success. Everyone out there can make their success, profits and money the right way and path.

My career of three decades started with ten years of restaurant management; I have a hospitality business degree from the early nineties. At thirty years old, then I would switch careers and move into staffing, recruitment, jobs and the medical industry. I have twenty-three years of recruitment experience and I founded KD-Staffing in 2007. I developed a sales training program called “Recruitment Is An Art” some years ago and it’s training for our recruiters and sales professionals with their phone jobs. Training and coaching are essential and necessary steps for bigger and stronger results.

In 2018, I would open my second business called KDC-Making A Difference. This company is currently dedicated to books and public speaking. My first book “Togetherness-People’s Ideas for the Common People” was launched in 2018 and it’s a collection of articles and government blogging that I wrote in 2015 and 2o16. I had applied with the Donald Trump campaign in 2015 and I was selected as a potential VP from Texas for Trump. Of course, as the story goes then he selected Mike Pence.

In 2021, I would launch my second book. This upcoming year 2024 and in March, I will be attending a Black-Tie Gala and media event in Phoenix, Arizona through ABC-15 and Go All In Media. This will be an Arizona televised award ceremony for the winners of an International Impact Book award. I am proud to attend VIP for the award going toward my second book “Riding The Executive Roller Coaster-Medical Staffing Cases. ” My second book was an international best-selling book 2021 in legal, government work, politics and inspirational testimony categories. It’s called a novel, memoir, crime drama and juicy story. The book was predicted for filming prior to the completion of the project. Current day, I have a Texas attorney specialized in filming and literature and now officially my literary agent. We are actively searching for the right movie or filming company for the future. I had some movie companies highly interested in this book last year but no decision made at this moment.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I have three top secrets with business that can apply to your lifestyle and model from:

Generosity, respect, and kindness towards other people- Whether you are sitting on top of a mountain or stuck in a ditch? Always be real, kind, and generous to other people. I always respect anyone out there trying to collect an honest paycheck and doing the best they can with life. It does not matter about their job title because we need everyone for every job and every industry.

As a leader, be honest, transparent, and fair to your team. Try to remember everyone needs their paychecks and try to be less selfish towards giving. I do believe that ambition, hard work, results, and going above and beyond equals a larger financial payoff. For the people that are lazy, sloppy and cannot produce results? I can fire people in my sleep with bad results. I know how to fire people nicely but get it done.

Work hard, get better results, think outside of the box, follow instructions, and go above and beyond- Whether you are a boss or employee? You will always get promoted.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I am still on the patient, cautious and careful path towards finding a long-term business home for my newest and bestselling book project “Riding The Executive Roller Coaster-Medical Staffing Cases.” Texas and local CBS predicted this book for a movie or filming before the book launched in 2021. It’s an original litigation book of 225 pages and life story rewritten. with fictional characters based on a real life story. Although it’s been exciting to start get hit by so many movie companies last year then I haven’t found the right home yet. As a best selling author and often called “an attorney with no law degree” then I have stumbled upon multiple problems in the publishing industry and paths of “great caution” that authors want to avoid. My newest attorney Dena is specialized in filming and literature and now my literary agent. She took the time to read both my books in 2023 and happy to stand proud of my literary work. We are seeking a traditional book option contract for the future.

I am told as a leader that I have a best-selling life story and perfect for more books and the movies. I am the author of life stories but sometimes you’re not sure that you want to share your life stories with the general public. In life stories there are situations that you actually have to survive, live through, move past, overcome and challenge yourself to move towards the future. I have about two more books in mind for the future but seeking a larger publishing company or connection before I write another life series book. I am told that I am a great counselor for thousands of people throughout a lifetime. My own life would teach me the strongest survival skills and give me the abilities to help other people.
