Meet Kellie Smalls

We were lucky to catch up with Kellie Smalls recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kellie, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

My optimism comes from within an through supernatural faith! I have always been a glass half full type. I’m always looking on the bright side, even through disappointments and setbacks. I have learned that most of the time a rejection is God’s protection. As a child, I was told about having faith the size of a mustard seed, and faith without works is dead: I always knew I had to do my part and that the rest would work it’s way out. My grandmother always said, “You’ll make it if you try!” These days, I stay motivated by starting the day with prayer, deep breathing, exercise and affirmations. Staying optimistic and motivated is not easy.
A lot of times our external environment affects our state of being. We have to learn how to let things flow. Its easier said than done, but when we allow an emotion to come in, feel it and let it go, we keep our energy field clear. Don’t allow anything to steal your joy! Throughout the day, I try to listen to high vibrational music, drink plenty of water, and take short walks to maintain clarity. Positive self talk throughout the day also helps me to stay focused.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m originally from SC, and I graduated from USC with a Business Management and Hospitality degree. I have worked in the industry for 20 years, and over that time I have interacted with many people in various locations, and experienced many strange, often paranormal situations. Even as a child, I had always been highly sensitive to energies and the unseen world. As I got older, things got more intense, and I decided I needed to learn more about these gifts. In 2010, I started a journey of self discovery to find out more about Metaphysics and Holistic Health. I started my website in 2016 Klass A Konnection.com and in 2020, I officially began Kosmick Konnection Ltd. Co. Now I’m able to use my hospitality and management skills on a deeper level. I love to help my klients think outside the box and see things from a different perspective. Most of the time, we just need someone to help us sort through our thoughts. Some services offered include Reiki, Chakra Balancing, Feng Shui, House Clearings and Life Coaching. I am completing my certifications in NLP and Hypnotherapy, which will further help to break habits and conditioning that may prevent one from meeting their true potential. I have also introduced Kosmick Kandles: handmade with organic soy, essential oils and premium scents. They are customized for seasonal aromatherapy, setting intentions or just because.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

First, I would say perseverance. You have to have the will and determination. It all starts with your dreams! If it came to you in that state it is meant for you to chase it in real life. Next, and along the same lines- I would say a level of delusion. To truly chase your dreams you have to really believe in them! Even if no one else believes, you know what you saw! Journaling your hopes and desires helps us to ground these things into reality, while a vision board is a great way to visually bring the desires closer. Lastly, I would say persistence. We all get disappointed or knocked down, but you can’t stay down. Keep at it no matter how long it takes or how many rejections you receive. What’s for you is for you!

How would you describe your ideal client?

My ideal klient is someone who is open minded, aware of themselves, and the world around them. My ideal klient knows their downfalls and difficulties and they are not afraid to admit them. I like to konnect with people from all walks of life. We are all so unique, yet we have so many similarities. After all, we are all just humans experiencing this thing called life.
The best klients are honest with themselves, and truly want to learn how to navigate through life more peacefully. Once we peel back some layers, its like a fog is lifted and then progress is made. I pride myself on relating to my klients on a personal level. I also maintain a non judgemental stance, and even share some of my personal experiences with them to help with comfortability.
