We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kelly Lynn Adams a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kelly Lynn, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

Reminding myself that I get to consciously create and commit to taking one courage action after another until the confidence is remembered because it was never not there even in the times when it doesn’t feel comfortable I keep in action. I like to play games with myself and get comfortable in the uncomfortable and propel myself into my edges. I watch my 6 year old niece and see how confident and unapologetic she is and remind myself it truly is the unlearning of conditioning, programing, society and experiences that have told me I may not be enough or the chipping away at the self-esteem that was always and will always be there. Anything new I expose myself to, I keep continuing to take consistent action and keep the commitments that I make to myself – anytime I break the commitments to myself it cracks a piece of my confidence and self-esteem so I am very conscious of the commitments that I make to myself.

It’s simple.

To continue to keep growing, learning, unlearning, evolving and expanding into my true self, have fun and lead with love to cause and create a ripple effect in the world through other’s lives and businesses.

To get more money in the hands of women, have them shatter even more of their own glass ceilings and thrive like never before, becoming the most unapologetic, fun, powerful and profitable selves they ever have created.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Making the Moves: Taking aligned action NOW, do not wait, hesitate, hide or hold back (even when you feel like it, your feelings are not always facts) and right now as you are reading this, there is at least 1 person or 200,000 people looking for you and what you have to offer. The moment is now to make and take the actions. Many spend too much time in their head and not enough time executing. The miracles can come from the mess. And your blessings sometimes come through your breakdowns & breakthroughs. Nothing is forever. Change is constant.

Do not compare someone’s Chapter 10 to your Chapter 2: you have no idea what behind the scenes support or what is really going on behind the social media post, the successes or what they had to truly overcome or the whole picture/journey. You can utilize comparison to fuel you or harm you, choose wisely. Measure your gains rather than focusing on the gaps. And when you find your “gaps” let them fuel & teach you. Your life is always speaking, the question becomes are you listening?

You always have choice. You always had the power. Even when it seems like your back is against the wall you always have choice in what you think, what decisions you make and what actions you take. The mind, body and heart are powerful. You were born powerful. Period. You are capable of creating whatever you desire. You are always creating so create consciously what you desire, one step at a time. Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.

It starts with:

Willingness

and a commitment to themselves, to the process & to what they are creating–being open to see things differently and have a growth mindset.

Ready to shatter their own glass ceilings and upgrade their own identity, ways of being, rituals, routines, actions and habits.

Ability to take radical responsibility and desire to make radical movement and changes.

Loves to have FUN, feel fulfilled and free. Likes to play & at the same time activate a powerful prey drive like an Olympian.

Drive, devotion and dedication – they are all in and does whatever it takes to create their desires.

Falls in love with the process of continuously refining, realigning and finding the gains in everything and is thankful for everything.
