We were lucky to catch up with Kelsey Hart recently and have shared our conversation below.

Kelsey, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

From a young age, I always knew I was meant to be an entrepreneur. I didn’t know exactly what that would look like, but I felt that calling deep in my heart. Over time, I found my purpose through a mix of faith, perseverance, and a lot of trial and error. Each season of struggle and growth revealed a new piece of the puzzle. My faith played a huge role – trusting that even when the path didn’t make sense, God was shaping my purpose behind the scenes. Through prayer, persistence, and grace, I discovered that my true calling is using my creativity and experience to help others step into their own purpose with confidence and clarity. Like everything in life – discovering my purpose has been a journey.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

As the Founder and Visionary of Creative Honey Badger – A Premium Website Development Agency, based out of Pocatello, Idaho and serving clients coast to coast, at CHB, we build premium custom websites while offering premium web services such as fully managed hosting and care plans & search engine optimization. We build BOLD and Deliver FAST with our Fierce Launch VIP Experience – allowing overwhelmed business owners that need a quality site that works for them – not against them – up and running in days not months. Our custom developed sites are uniquely crafted with strategy at the forefront of our process. We don’t use or rely on cookie-cutter templates or themes that often leave clients frustrated and overwhelmed while also causing limitations to their scalability of their website – consequently, hindering their business to grow and scale.

After many years in the industry and the progression of technology and our ‘instant gratification’ culture – I realized many people now expect that from professionals also. I set out to explore what that could look like for CHB and the web development industry – especially with the growing interest of Instant AI websites (that leave you in a one and done trap with no support). An I’ve found a solution to that… which I’m excited to share our Fierce Launch VIP Experience

Our Fierce Launch VIP Experience is currently in its soft launch phase, with the full launch coming January 1, 2026. This is Creative Honey Badger’s signature website experience, created for business owners who want premium quality websites built efficiently and intentionally, but with a quicker turnaround, while not settling on the quality of work.

Rather than following the standard 4 to 12 week development timeline, our VIP model gives clients exclusive access to CHB for a focused session. Depending on the project size, that may be a single VIP Day or a multi-day VIP Week. During that time, we work one-on-one to design, develop, and refine their website with complete focus and expert execution.

Each project is different, but most clients leave their VIP session with their site nearly complete or ready to launch within days, not months. Every build is developed with strategy at the forefront of our process, ensuring every element serves a clear purpose. The Fierce Launch Experience helps clients see a faster return on investment by getting their website launched sooner, so they can start attracting leads and generating revenue right away.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

1. Perseverance & Tenacity – Entrepreneurship will test you in ways you never expect. The ability to keep going when things are uncertain or uncomfortable is what separates those who dream from those who build. Perseverance & tenacity grows through action. Keep showing up even when it’s hard, and trust that consistency creates progress over time.

2.Adaptability – The online space is always changing. Being able to pivot, learn new tools, and evolve your approach keeps you ahead of the curve. I’ve learned to see change not as a setback but as an invitation to innovate. For anyone just starting out, stay curious and never stop learning. CHB has had to adjust our business, our service offering and our target demographic as we continue to grow – not just in size, but as our business model matures. Being able to know when it’s time to adjust for you (as a business owner) and for your clients is critical – and it allows you to keep showing up the best way you can for your clients.

3.Faith and Vision – Faith has been my foundation. It’s what allows me to lead with purpose instead of pressure. Having a clear vision and trusting that your path is unfolding for a reason helps you stay grounded through every season of growth & in the trials. Building a business is not for the faint of heart – but when you know your “WHY” and the values you stand for, it empowers your to keep going, even when it feels impossible. My faith is not only a foundation for me personally, but it has become the foundation of CHB through our F.A.I.T.H. Values:

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

There are so many people I could give credit to because growing a business is a lot like growing a family. It truly takes a village.

My family and church family have been incredible in supporting my dreams and vision. They have never doubted me, even when I doubted myself. My best friend has also been a constant source of encouragement and perspective, standing by me through both the wins and the hard seasons, and support each other in our entrepreneurial journeys.

Professionally, my business mentor has been a complete God-send. I would not be where I am today without his experience, passion, and drive to help me grow. He consistently challenges me to step out of my comfort zone and into my greater potential. The knowledge and insight he has shared have been invaluable in helping me grow both personally and professionally.

At the end of the day, success is never a solo journey. It takes a strong support system that believes in you, pushes you forward, and helps you rise higher than you thought possible.
