Meet Kemi Fasheyide

We were lucky to catch up with Kemi Fasheyide recently and have shared our conversation below.

Kemi, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

I’m the most confident person in the world… said no one EVER! Ok maybe unless your like Beyoncé lol. Ever since a young age I was taught to be proud of who I am and where I come from. It took ALOT of growing to truly find myself and learn to be comfortable in my skin! I come from a big multicultural family with German, Nigerian and Spanish heritage. Let’s just say growing up, I hated my curly hair and always wanted straight hair. Now, you won’t catch me with straight hair hunny! I embrace this big, wild, crazy hair God gave me.
Confidence and self esteem come from embracing those things about you that make you unique!

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Helllooo Nurse! Even though the Anamaniacs coined this phrase, it never gets old lol! Currently I own and operate a mobile IV hydration company called Vibe Infusionz here in DFW. I’m also an Emergency Room nurse in Dallas at one of the BIGGEST Level 1 Trauma Centers in the Metroplex. So grab a bag of popcorn because I can tell you STORIES FOR DAYS with some of the things I’ve seen!

Vibe Infusionz however started from working in the ER. So many illnesses that affect us can be prevented by simple means. For example during the pandemic I took those crazy nursing assignments where we worked 21 days straight with 4 days off and we’d hop right back in a rotation again. Stress, a lack of sleep, not eating right and exposure to sick people around me caused me to start loosing my hair in chunks! I cried and tried to cover it up with scrub caps. The REAL underlying issue was I wasn’t taking care of myself and my body started to show it.

I know IV hydration is not for everyone! Trust me, I get it. IV hydration can treat and prevent certain illnesses from running rampant in our bodies. Say you catch a stomach bug and are dehydrated or nauseated in your first trimester of pregnancy. We all suffer from work fatigue and could easily feel better with a simple B12 shot. I’m passionate about PREVENTATIVE and NATURAL medicine to keep me healthy and out of the hospital!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

1. I am a people person and I’m passionate about what I do. For me that has been the biggest thing that has allowed me to genuinely connect with others. I’ve met some amazing people doing this business that I don’t think I would’ve got to meet otherwise.
2. Business is not for everyone! Sometimes along the way people come into your lives for seasons, but aren’t meant to stay. Understand that is ok!
3. Self doubt is a REAL thing that can take over and paralyze you if you let it. I read this quote recently that said, “You’re suffering from self-doubt, while others are intimidated by your full potential!” Let that sink in for a bit…

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I’ve done a lot of collaborations with the different fitness groups such as B12 shots for a 5K run with Self Made Training Facility and a grand opening for a cycling studio called iiCE in Dallas. I love getting out in the community! I’d love to collaborate with the realtors hosting community events or other community wellness events!
