Meet Kendall Taylor

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kendall Taylor. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kendall below.

Hi Kendall , we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
Growing up I was always known as the shy and timid girl. I was afraid to try new things due to lack of confidence. As I got older and started to look back, I realized how many opportunities I missed out on. I was always left with all of the what could of been or should of been thoughts. After constantly letting myself down, I decided enough was enough. I started challenging myself, by deciding to work through the fears of the unknown, talking with other people who shared similar interest as me, instilling positive self-talk and believing in my own abilities.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
In today’s age social media has become a big platform and with social media growing its opening up new avenues for many people including myself. Influencers are becoming popular and it is my goal to be a big food influencer. I create food content for many platforms with Instagram being my number one. Being in the kitchen fills me with joy. I am able to invite people into my kitchen through social media and share many recipes, food ideas and inspire others to cook as well. By the end of this year I plan to launch my first cookbook.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities that have been most impactful on this journey has been, having patience, being disciplined and having fun. being patient is important because, It takes time to to get to what you want in life and nothing easy, comes fast. Stay disciplined in order to stay focused on the goal at hand and you may be forced with many obstacles along the way but but always remember theres a goal it be met in the end. Its okay to have fun during the process. Having fun helped motivate me to keep going. Sometimes I had just shake things off and laugh about it.
My advice to anyone on this journey is trust the process, don’t give up, even when things don’t look good. Keep going. Theres a light at the end of the tunnel.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
My family and therapy. I have too many supportive family members to single out one. Everyone says it takes a village and my village is strong.
