Kenni & Rio, we are so happy that our community is going to have a chance to learn more about you, your story and hopefully even take in some of the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Let’s start with self-care – what do you do for self-care and has it had any impact on your effectiveness?
Some avenues through which we utilize self-care are, breathwork, working out, meditation, dancing and skating. We approach self-care from a mindfulness perspective. We definitely believe in utilizing the mornings as a base for a grounded day. It’s important that you take ownership of your energy for the day so that you can show up as your best self in projects and in collaboration with others. From our experience, if you do not allocate time for self-care then that need will show itself in spaces unexpectedly. Which is not beneficial when maximum efficiency and effectiveness is preferred.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
We are creative production managers who believe in helping make others’ vision come to fruition. We do this through structuring foundations, content development, and digital marketing.
Our business is uniquely structured to ensure a balance of masculine and feminine energy because of our belief in the nature of duality. We believe that every client deserves to receive a dual perspective on every project.
We are a business that puts an emphasis on top quality professionalism and service. We are digitally fluid in our knowledge and skillset which allows for expanded creativity and flexibility in the content creation process. We are passionately involved with research and development in our skills to stay abreast of cutting edge trends.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Understanding the importance of the pre-production process is one of the most impactful areas of knowledge that has helped us along our journey. We put a lot of emphasis on structuring the foundation of each project. Whether its creating a shot-list, listing the elements that a client wants to capture in a project, or putting in the extra effort to identify unspoken needs, pre-production is always key.
Hospitality would be the second skill that comes to mind. Being attentive and anticipating the needs of your client helps establish trust and a sense of comfort that lasts past the services you provide.
We wouldn’t be able to complete this list without mentioning Communication. Skillful communication helps maintain long-term relationships and fosters a strong sense of reliability and dependability when properly executed.
