Kenny & Stephanie, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?
At Food Take 2, creativity is at the heart of everything we do. We challenge ourselves each week by making at least two dishes we’ve never tried before, constantly exploring new flavors, ingredients, and techniques. Our love of food fuels that curiosity—every recipe becomes a chance to experiment, reinvent, and keep our cooking fresh and exciting. It’s this spirit of discovery that keeps our kitchen, and our channel, alive with creativity.

At Food Take 2, we’re all about making restaurant-quality dishes right at home while having fun learning along the way. Each week, we dive into new recipes and techniques, keeping our kitchen fresh and exciting. We’re always on the hunt for the latest food hacks, but we love giving them our own twist to make them approachable, creative, and delicious. Our goal is simple: to inspire people to try something new and enjoy the process of cooking just as much as the final bite.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities that have shaped our food journey are curiosity, creativity, and perseverance. Curiosity keeps us eager to explore new flavors, techniques, and cuisines. Creativity helps us put our own spin on recipes, turning everyday dishes into something exciting and unique. And perseverance reminds us that not every dish turns out perfectly the first time—but each attempt teaches us something new and makes us better cooks. Together, these qualities have fueled our growth and kept our passion for food thriving.
What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
Our biggest area of growth has definitely been building consistency and seeing the results pay off. After posting regularly for two years, we had our first viral video hit over 41,000 views—and that moment was a game-changer. It gave us the excitement and confidence that our channel could really grow, and it showed us that all the hard work, learning, and experimenting was worth it. That milestone pushed us to keep creating, stay consistent, and believe in the journey ahead.
