Meet Keno

Hi Keno, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from my parents. I started working at 15 years old and have been able to gradually increase my knowledge and income throughout the years. I saw my parents work hard to provide for me and each other. Even when my mother was forced to retire from her job early, she still tried to find ways to make a steady income for the household. I am big on growth and having a good worth ethic helps me propel in my career.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am a photography in the Tampa, FL area. I have been doing photography for the past 2 years and have been doing photo editing for almost 2 decades. With my customer service history, I try to make each photo session a comfortable and fun experience. I believe that if the energy and smiles are genuine, the photos will be even more remarkable! Whether you are getting professional headshots, portraits, or boudoir photos, I want you to leave the session with confidence and a smile. My main focus for the rest of the year is booking more photoshoots. I want to gain more experience as well as bring smiles to clients’ faces.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Hmmm… three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge? I would have to say having an extroverted personality. I am an introverted shy person, but knew something needed to change. I would say building confidence and knowledge in whatever your profession is will help you succeed. A very important quality to have as well is Adaptability. It is very important to be able to adapt to changes and new conditions. This can help ease the conscience of your client as well.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I am always down to collaborate with awesome people! Networking and meeting like-minded individuals is always an opportunity to open a door to something new and fun. Models and photographers can reach me via Instagram, @Gearbyj.shotz. Let’s create some art!
