Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kenya Zandrowicz. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Kenya, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
I wasn’t always confident. In fact, I was shy, insecure, and my self-esteem was almost non-existent. It took years of self-discovery and resilience to find my voice. My turning point came through an unexpected outlet, the runway.
There’s something powerful about walking a runway. You have to convince the world and yourself that you belong there. I leaned into that in my early twenties and eventually went from walking in shows to producing them, and later, training adults and children to do the same.
When I became a meditation and intuitive life coach, everything clicked. I realized confidence isn’t just about how you walk in heels, it’s how you walk through life. That’s when I truly allowed myself to be seen, not just on the runway, but in everyday moments.
It’s been a journey of merging inner peace with outward expression, and that’s the energy that now lives through everything I create.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m the creator of Diva Kiddie, a mindfulness-based children’s lifestyle brand designed to help young girls build confidence, emotional awareness, and imagination through storytelling, music, and play. The brand features six vibrant cat characters, each representing a different chakra and emotional quality who help children embrace who they are and express themselves with love and courage.
I’m also the founder of One Magical Seat, a nonprofit that supports S.T.E.A.M. and mindfulness-based programs for youth. Through partnerships, workshops, and sponsorships, we aim to gift experiences that spark creativity, emotional growth, and self-belief.
One of the most exciting updates is the launch of The Diva Kiddie Corner at White Street Station in Rock Hill, SC, our first physical retail space, where families can experience the brand in person. It’s more than just a shop; it’s a joyful, colorful world where books, music, apparel, and mindfulness-inspired products come together to inspire little hearts.
We also recently released Diva Kiddie Plush Toys, The Diva Kiddie Theme Song, and The Breathe Song streaming on major platforms, along with our latest book, From Cars to Cows: The Big Move. available on Amazon and our website. Each project reinforces our mission to help kids see that confidence, kindness, and courage come from within.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Only three…lol
The three qualities that shaped my journey most are resilience, creativity, and faith.
Resilience taught me to keep showing up even when the path wasn’t clear. I’ve had moments where I had to rebuild from the ground up personally and professionally, but each time, I reminded myself that setbacks are just setups for something greater.
Creativity allowed me to see possibilities where others saw obstacles. Whether designing a fashion show, building Diva Kiddie, or writing children’s books, I’ve learned that creativity isn’t just about art; it’s about problem-solving, vision, and expression.
And faith, that unwavering belief that what’s meant for me won’t miss me, has kept me grounded and grateful through it all.
For anyone just beginning, my advice is this: don’t wait until you feel “ready.” Start where you are with what you have. Build resilience by taking small, consistent steps. Feed your creativity daily through books, nature, or quiet reflection. And trust your process. The world needs what only you can bring to it.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?
When I feel overwhelmed, I start by seeking clarity. I pause and ask myself, “Why am I feeling this way? What’s truly triggering it?” That awareness alone can shift my entire energy. From there, I breathe, literally. I use meditation and breathwork to recenter and remind myself that I can’t control everything around me, but I can control how I respond.
I try to stay in the center of the pendulum swing, balanced, not reactive. As someone who’s very energy and frequency-oriented, protecting my peace is non-negotiable. Becoming a certified meditation coach has helped me not only maintain my own inner calm but also bring mindfulness into my businesses and the lives of others.
My advice to anyone feeling overwhelmed is to find your center. Focus on what makes you happy and what you’re grateful for. Hold that space, and let it guide you from anxiety to alignment from chaos to calm.
