Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kenyetta Davis. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Kenyetta, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
Developing my confidence and self-esteem was a journey that started with a significant personal struggle. After having twins, I found myself overweight and feeling disconnected from the vibrant, confident person I once was. This affected not just my self-image, but also my sense of identity and purpose. On top of that, the COVID-19 pandemic left me unable to work in hospitals, a career I had dedicated myself to for years. It was a tough time—one where I had to dig deep to rediscover my strength.
Rather than letting these challenges define me, I decided to take control of my health and well-being. I dove into learning about holistic approaches to wellness and weight loss, which led me to a transformation both physically and mentally. I embraced new ways of eating, exercising, and living a lifestyle that nourished my body. With the support of these practices, I started to feel empowered again.
As I regained my confidence, I realized that I wanted to help others feel the same. I took that passion and transformed it into Queen’s Den MedSpa, where my mission is to help people not only look beautiful but feel confident and capable. Every challenge I faced became a lesson that helped me grow and build the self-esteem I had lost. Today, I’m proud of the woman I’ve become—someone who can help others do the same by guiding them on their wellness journeys.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m the founder of Queen’s Den MedSpa, where we focus on enhancing people’s beauty and well-being through expert injectables, skincare, and weight loss services. What excites me the most about my work is the ability to help people truly feel confident in their own skin. It’s not just about the treatments—it’s about how those treatments empower people to take control of their health and appearance, leading to a transformation that goes far beyond the physical. I’m passionate about creating personalized treatment plans that align with each individual’s unique needs and goals.
What makes Queen’s Den MedSpa special is our commitment to making people feel beautiful inside and out. We pride ourselves on providing not just services, but a true experience—one that’s personalized, caring, and based on trust. My team and I are dedicated to making each client feel valued and understood. We understand the emotional side of beauty and wellness, and that’s what sets us apart from other medspas.
Right now, we’re expanding our weight loss services, offering a plan that doesn’t include GLP-1 drugs but instead focuses on personalized approaches using treatments like Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN), Sermorelin, and Lipo-Trim SL. These methods have already started helping people achieve lasting results in a way that’s both effective and sustainable. We’re also launching an exciting weight loss guide e-book soon, which will dive deeper into various diets, meal plans, and tips for maintaining a healthy weight.
Additionally, we’re thrilled to be adding microneedling to our list of services in the near future. This treatment is perfect for those looking to improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, and achieve a radiant complexion. It’s a great complement to our existing skincare offerings, and I can’t wait to share it with our clients.
I truly believe that every person deserves to feel beautiful, confident, and healthy, and Queen’s Den MedSpa is here to help make that a reality. It’s not just a business to me—it’s a movement to help people glow from the inside out.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back on my journey, there are three key qualities and skills that have been crucial to my success: resilience, a growth mindset, and a deep understanding of people.
Resilience: There have been many obstacles along the way—personal struggles, the challenges of starting a business, and the uncertainties that came with the pandemic. What kept me going was my ability to bounce back from setbacks. Resilience is all about staying committed to your goals, no matter how tough things get. When you’re starting your own business or pursuing any big dream, setbacks are inevitable, but it’s important to see them as learning opportunities rather than failures.
Growth Mindset: I’ve always believed that there’s always something new to learn. Whether it’s about business management, the latest wellness treatments, or personal development, embracing a mindset of continuous learning has helped me stay ahead. For anyone early in their journey, I recommend developing a passion for learning and seeking out knowledge from all angles—whether it’s books, mentors, or online resources. The more you invest in growing your skills and understanding, the better equipped you’ll be to face challenges.
Understanding People: One of the most important skills I’ve developed is the ability to truly understand and connect with others. Whether it’s my clients or my team, understanding people’s needs, emotions, and motivations has been fundamental in building strong relationships and offering tailored solutions. My advice to anyone starting out is to really listen to those around you—whether it’s clients, colleagues, or mentors. The ability to empathize and communicate effectively is priceless in any career or business.
For those who are early in their journey, my advice is simple: Stay resilient, never stop learning, and always focus on understanding and connecting with the people around you. The road might be tough at times, but with the right mindset and these skills, you’ll find your way.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Yes, I’m always open to partnering and collaborating with like-minded individuals and businesses. At Queen’s Den MedSpa, we’re focused on helping people feel confident, healthy, and beautiful, and I believe there’s so much potential for growth when we join forces with others who share that vision.
I’m especially interested in collaborating with wellness professionals, influencers in the beauty and health space, and other medspas or clinics that align with our mission of offering personalized care and innovative treatments. Whether it’s sharing knowledge, co-hosting events, or exploring new services, I’m always open to creative partnerships that will benefit our community and help us expand our reach.
