Meet Keon Atwater, CCP The Multifaceted Chef

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Keon Atwater, CCP The Multifaceted Chef. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Keon Atwater, CCP below.

Hi Keon Atwater, CCP, thank you so much for opening up with us about some important, but sometimes personal topics. One that really matters to us is overcoming Imposter Syndrome because we’ve seen how so many people are held back in life because of this and so we’d really appreciate hearing about how you overcame Imposter Syndrome.
Wow, this one is a great one. I would like to start by saying that I don’t think I have ever truly overcame imposter syndrome. I have this thing that I tell myself in the midst of my strides, which is “fake it until you make it”. This doesn’t mean that I avoid authenticity but it usually implies that I push those boundaries that I often create to hold myself back. The boundaries that I usually use as a crutch in situations that won’t allow me to step outside of my comfort zone due to the fear of failure. I have been actively pursuing my passions and working in my industry for years but even til this day I sometimes don’t feel like I am accomplishing anything. I think that a strong sense of self is a great attribute to have and also carry when aiming to overcome this imposter syndrome. Instead of feeling like you are not worthy or aren’t capable of achieving what you aim to achieve, it’s imperative to remember who you are and what you are aiming for. Holding onto this simple value has helped me work through those moments where I fall back into the mindset of being an imposter as a whole. I think as entrepreneurs and creatives, we must constantly affirm ourselves and move forward using our heart to share the things we carry within. I am able to move past those feelings by remembering that my actions may inspire another to chase a dream that they may have once felt unworthy or incapable of. “Believe it, receive it, achieve it!”

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Hello and thank you so much for this opportunity. My name is Keon Atwater, CCP aka The Multifaceted Chef.
I like to call myself this because I am a Chef, Author, Entrepreneur, Artist, Entertainer, Brand Ambassador, Blogger, Podcaster, Content Creator and so much more. For me the sky isn’t the limit, it is boundless!

Growing up I would often hear that I would have to choose “one thing at a time” sorting through a passion at a time as if I were incapable of doing it all. As I grew older, I decided not to just focus on the one thing that makes me great but to find a way to incorporate all that I have to offer because it all equates to my greatness. Some may think it’s a lot but I think it can never be too much. By not putting myself in a box I have found a way to reach multiple groups of people who resonate with a piece of me in whichever way calls to them.
Whether it’s food or art, the Multifaceted Chef is full of surprises!
Through my products, services, podcast, blogs, events, youtube channel, books and content people are able to not just relate to me but also connect with me.

My goal is to share my passions and creativity while Uplifting, Educating and Inspiring those whose spirits align.

Outside of offering my services as a personal chef I have recently released two books.
One of my books is a journal that inspires self-love and self-care.
“Self-Love Journey: The Tarot Journal Edition” was created to help aid people in their personal development and spiritual journey. Often the road of self-care can be much like a roller coaster, there are plenty of ups and downs but it is constantly in motion.
It can be hard to keep track of all of the sudden changes and experiences that occur on this journey, hence why I have created a journal to help others sort through these every day experiences.
My other book “A Dose of Fuego” is a recipe guide series which is Inspired by the Erotic Book Series “Fuego Dosage” by Jonnise Atwater, MBA.
This book was creatively conceptualized by pairing a series of dishes that convey key element’s of erotica using aphrodisiac component’s.
This dual concept, “A Dose of Fuego” break’s down the elaborate and erotic tales of “Fuego Dosage” through aphrodisiac based food with a plant based twist.
Introducing the first of an unforgettable culinary and literary experience, where poetry and food collide seamlessly to reveal a story.
Both books are now available on Amazon.
In addition to the release of my books, you can also find merch and art that was inspired by these concepts.

As I move forward in my career I aim to continue my family’s legacy and establish something that can be passed down for generations through my family business Atwater Productions & Publishing LLC.

Keep your eyes open for what’s to come!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I believe that the first quality that has been most impactful on my journey has been my motivation to share my passion with the world, so that way it can help others reflect and find that thing that drives them. We all have dreams but it’s when we decide to put our best foot forward to make that dream a reality that opens up the world of opportunities. I use to be someone who was scared to put themselves out there because I was afraid of how it would be received. This is why I would say my next quality has gave me that extra push, which is having a positive mindset. This is what has allowed me to use my motivation to help others take flight in not only my career but equally my personal life. Lastly, faith itself is the most useful tool of all. Faith in my purpose and the journey I have set out on. Faith that I will prevail and accomplish all that is destined for me. If I didn’t hold onto that idea then all that I did would be without purpose. I think when you shoot for the stars it takes intention and I believe in living intentionally, so I like to incorporate each of these into my day to day. Motivation, positivity and faith are what made me who I am today. My advice to anyone out there pursuing a dream is to release doubt and the fear of losing, there aren’t any loses because each step on this journey is just another lesson. Have faith in what you aim to accomplish and do not limit your capability. When it comes to your passions the most important voice will be your inner voice, listen to it and allow yourself to not just grow but flourish! Remain motivated, positive and have faith in not just your actions but also yourself. You are capable and you will succeed as long as you practice this daily. It is a work in progress but it will prove to be worth it.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
I would say my biggest area of growth/improvement has been my mindset and how I choose to handle things I cannot control. I use to be someone who would get all worked up when things didn’t go as planned. This past year has taught me that the universes timing is divine and as long as I walk the path, I will reach the goals I set out to reach. Patience and reflecting deeply in my spiritual journey has been the most help when it comes to maintaining this mindset. It’s okay if you don’t accomplish everything in the order or even at the time that you plan. What matters most is that you are actively pursuing the greatness you hope to achieve. Reflecting daily and showing gratitude for where you are and where you are going is key. As soon as I learned to be still and acknowledge self, I began to flourish in ways I didn’t foresee while also stepping aside so that way not even I stand in the way of the future I am creating. It’s ok to have setbacks but just remember to get back up and try again. This way of thinking has even shifted my approach when it comes to gaining clientele and selling products, everything will unfold as it shall so long as I create the blueprint and lay down the foundation. I know that what is meant for me will be.
