Meet Kerry-Ann Mckenzie

We were lucky to catch up with Kerry-Ann Mckenzie recently and have shared our conversation below.

Kerry-Ann, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

I didn’t wake up one day resilient; it was carved into me through moments that tested me beyond what I thought I could handle. My resilience was forged through challenge from long days as a caregiver to the leap into real estate and entrepreneurship. Each obstacle became a lesson in endurance, adaptability, and vision. I draw strength from my faith in God and my determination to use every setback as a stepping stone toward the life I was created to live.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m Kerry-Ann McKenzie, a real estate author of Lead Magnet, consultant, and digital creator with deep Jamaican roots that shape not just who I am, but how I see the world. Growing up surrounded by the rich culture, resilience, and warmth of my community taught me the value of faith, hard work, and dreaming big. My journey from caregiving to entrepreneurship transformed me, showing me that success isn’t given, it’s built, brick by brick, through faith, resilience, and unwavering determination.

I help women and real estate professionals turn their vision into reality, attract the right clients, and create businesses that radiate purpose, confidence, and impact. What inspires me most is watching people rise from doubt and uncertainty to claim their potential, stepping boldly into a life and business they once thought out of reach. I believe every challenge carries the seed of possibility, and with clarity, courage, and vision, anyone can create the life they were born to live.

Beyond business, I’m fueled by Christ, creativity, and connection from celebrating my Jamaican heritage through food, music, and storytelling, to empowering others to embrace their unique journeys and strengths. Life is meant to be lived fully, boldly, and purposefully, and I’m passionate about guiding others to do just that.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, three qualities have shaped my journey: resilience, vision, and relationship-building. Resilience taught me to turn setbacks into growth and never quit, even when the path seemed uncertain. Vision and clarity helped me define what I wanted and break it into actionable steps, keeping me focused and attracting the right opportunities. Relationships and communication skills reminded me that business is ultimately about people building authentic connections leading to open doors that I never imagined. For anyone starting out, focusing on these three areas creates a strong foundation for long-term success.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I love partnering with individuals and businesses who are passionate about growth and making an impact. I’m especially looking to connect with brands like TJ Maxx, Fenty Beauty, and other lifestyle or beauty companies; content creators such as lifestyle influencers or digital creators; and real estate professionals, including luxury and commercial realtors. If this sounds like you, reach out via social media or email. Let’s create something meaningful together.
