We were lucky to catch up with Keven Veras recently and have shared our conversation below.
Keven, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always been drawn to the camera. At first, I thought my dream was to play basketball and make it to the NBA, but deep down, I felt an unexplainable pull toward creating content. When I was around 8 or 9 years old, I started recording videos by myself using my mom’s phone, and I instantly fell in love with the process.
Even when I tried to explore other paths, content creation kept calling me back. People would always tell me, “You have the personality of a YouTuber,” which made me realize that maybe this was something I was truly meant to do. That’s when I decided to fully embrace it and start my own YouTube channel.
Looking back, I genuinely believe this is my purpose. I feel like God placed this passion in my heart for a reason. We were put on this earth to create. After all, the very first thing God did was create the heavens & the earth. That belief fuels me every day, and I know that my purpose is to keep creating, sharing, and inspiring through my content.

Hi, my name is Keven Veras, and I create tech and lifestyle content that I share across social media.
I originally started in content creation with entertainment-focused videos, but over time, I realized my true passion was in tech—specifically, exploring gadgets, apps, and how they fit into everyday life. That’s when I shifted my focus to tech and lifestyle content, blending my love for innovation with my personal experiences.
What truly inspired me to pursue this path was simply being myself. I’ve always loved being on camera, sharing my thoughts, and connecting with people through content. More than anything, I want to inspire others to start creating too because I know firsthand how this journey can be life changing.
What makes my work unique and fulfilling is that I get to be myself while still telling a story through my videos. I don’t have to strictly focus on tech, I blend it with my lifestyle, which includes my health journey, my growth with God, and simply enjoying and navigating life. This mix makes my content more relatable, and that’s what truly fulfills me, connecting with people on a deeper level beyond just tech.
The biggest impact I believe I’ve made is inspiring others to be themselves and chase their dreams. Since I’m still a small creator, my journey shows people that success is possible if they keep pushing forward. I think that resonates with a lot of people because they see my progress in real time and realize they can do the same.
What sets me apart from other creators in my niche is that many of them stick strictly to tech, whereas I bring a personal and relatable aspect to my content. My creative process also plays a big role, I take my time researching trends, diving deeper than most, and adding my own unique perspective. Plus, I love incorporating my sarcastic criticism, it’s just part of who I am and adds personality to my content, making it stand out.
Mission & Vision:
At its core, my mission is to help people make informed decisions about the tech they invest in. I review gadgets, compare devices, and break down features so people don’t have to waste their time or money on products that might not be the right fit for them. Whether it’s choosing between two smartphones or deciding if a new piece of tech is worth upgrading to, my goal is to simplify that process and make it easier for my audience.
How I Connect with My Audience:
I connect with my audience directly through social media—I always make it a point to respond to messages, engage in conversations, and get real feedback from my community. Unlike some creators who feel distant, I want my audience to know I’m approachable and genuinely interested in their thoughts. I love hearing how they feel about a product I reviewed, especially if my content influenced their decision. That kind of interaction keeps me motivated and helps me improve my content to better serve them.
Values & Principles Behind My Content:
The biggest guiding principle in my content is providing value. If I were only creating lifestyle content without offering any real insights, people wouldn’t have a reason to watch. By blending tech knowledge with my personal experiences, I’ve built a space where my audience not only learns something useful but also connects with me on a personal level. It started with offering value, and now it has evolved into a community where people appreciate both my insights and my personality.
The most exciting thing I want people to know is simply my name “Keven” because you’re going to see it everywhere. You’ll see me on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, and more importantly, you’ll see the growth. But it’s not just about me, it’s about what happens when you follow your purpose.
I truly believe that by following God and allowing Him to guide my journey, everything will fall into place. So, I’m going to keep working hard, keep showing up, and keep creating. That’s really all there is to it, just staying consistent, trusting the process, and letting the results speak for themselves.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Reflecting on My Journey:
First and foremost, my journey is still ongoing, and I don’t think it’s one that ever truly ends. Looking back, I’ve realized that success isn’t easy, and more importantly, it isn’t defined by numbers. To me, success is about personal growth and my relationship with God, because without Him, true happiness wouldn’t be possible. I can confidently say that my happiness comes from that connection, and that’s something I want to put out there before anything else.
Three Most Impactful Lessons:
1. Don’t Overthink:
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to stop overthinking everything. It’s easy to get caught up in doubt, wondering if a video is good enough, if people will like it, or if it will perform well. But overthinking only slows you down. I’ve learned to trust my instincts, put my work out there, and let things happen naturally.
2. Consistency Over Everything:
Consistency is key there’s no way around it. You have to keep showing up, keep posting, and stay in tune with what’s happening in your niche. Growth doesn’t happen overnight, and the only way to build momentum is to stay consistent, even when things feel slow. The more you show up, the more opportunities come your way.
3. Don’t Be a Perfectionist:
Perfectionism is a trap. If you spend too much time trying to make everything “perfect,” you’ll never actually get anything done. I’ve learned that it’s better to put something out there and improve along the way rather than get stuck overanalyzing. The truth is, nothing will ever be perfect, but that doesn’t mean it’s not valuable.
Final Advice for Beginners:
For anyone starting out, my biggest advice is to trust the process, keep going, and don’t let fear or doubt stop you. Success isn’t about being perfect or having instant results, it’s about growth, consistency, and staying true to yourself. Keep putting in the work, and the results will follow.
Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
Honestly, the biggest influence in my journey has been God. He has placed the right people in my life at the right time, people who have encouraged me, reminded me of my purpose, and pushed me to go all in on what I do. Hearing from them that this is what I’m meant to do, that I have the skills and talent to succeed, really opened my eyes.
Their support, combined with my faith, gave me the confidence to stop doubting myself and fully commit to this path. I truly believe that God aligns everything for a reason, and the people He’s placed in my life have been a huge part of that.
Whenever I face challenges, I always start by turning to God. I pray and seek guidance, and then, out of nowhere, one of my friends or family members will reach out with exactly the advice or answers I was praying for. It’s almost like God uses them to realign me and put me back on track, reminding me to trust in His timing. That reassurance has helped me stay focused and grounded in my faith.
Outside of my faith, I’ve also been deeply inspired by other creators who started from nothing and worked their way up. Watching their journeys and seeing their success has reminded me that I can be great too. If they could do it with limited resources, I know I can achieve greatness as well. Their stories have motivated me to really go all in.
For anyone starting out, my biggest piece of advice is this: put God first. Without Him, nothing truly aligns. God is the one who will guide you, bring the right people into your life, and open the doors you need to walk through. Trust Him and follow His plan for you. If you have a passion, a fire burning inside of you, don’t hesitate, go after it with everything you have.
God will align everything for you, and you just have to trust His process. Make sure the people around you align with your vision and stay true to your purpose. Keep faith and go after your dreams. That’s the truth behind it all.
