Meet Khristy Johnson

We were lucky to catch up with Khristy Johnson recently and have shared our conversation below.

Khristy, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I developed my confidence from my mother she always told me to be me and love me and she showed me how to love others as well as myself and I make sure everything I do I do it to the best of my ability.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am a Photographer/Videographer I also do Marketing and Advertising I use to do modeling and I use to assist my family and friends with advertising their business so why not make a business out of it and get on the other side of the camera bit my real inspiration was my daughter that passed away in 2011 I didnt get a lot of photos of here but the ones that I did get they were perfect memories for me and that’s why the name if my business is La’Niya Perfect Image LLC

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Strength that I got from my mother and daughter determination and motivation has been a huge part in my journey .I have set goals every year to make my business more successful .I just keep on working hard and moving forward .

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?
My biggest growth as been that I use to fear speaking or standing up in front of a room full of people or even speaking with individuals thinking I was wrong which I knew I needed to improve if i wanted to run my own business but I have definitely made an improvement I’m more confident and my self esteem is up with the success of my business .
