Meet Kiana Lane

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kiana Lane. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Kiana, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

I have a tattoo on one of my fingers that has the number ‘21’ on it that I got (a little late, when I was 23) when I finally made the decision that I loved & accepted myself for the person I am. It definitely comes with age and since I just turned 30, I feel like I have so much more confidence and self assurance than I did when I was a teenager and in my early twenties.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I write my own songs & sing them! Music is something that has always been so important to me, and in some of the darkest moments of my life, it’s been the only thing there for me which is why I think it’s one of the most beautiful parts of life. I really want to drop before the year is over so everyone stay tuned!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The first quality that is top of mind for me is being flexible & able to pivot. I also think having an open mind is super important especially when it comes to being creative because you could be visualizing a song or design or product to be one way, and you suddenly get a whole different idea so you have to be willing to listen to your intuition & take those cues the universe is giving you.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Always! I want to make music with people who are also as passionate about it as I am. Also, people who can teach me more about producing & engineering my own work. That’s my ultimate goal, to write, record, mix/master & engineer on my own. I’m kind of ghost on socials and I need to change that. I’m an email or Instagram message away!
