Meet Kiara Davis

We recently connected with Kiara Davis and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kiara , we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

There are still moments when my confidence wavers, but I strive to exercise my faith every day, even on those days when I don’t feel my best. I have come to understand that my faith and confidence are closely intertwined. The more I place my trust in Jesus and embrace the journey He has set for me, the more I realize that I don’t need to have all the answers; I simply need to trust that He created me with unique gifts and abilities.

As I choose to trust in the Lord and seek His guidance, I find that my confidence grows. Psalm 27:14 states, “Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!” This verse serves as a reminder not to overthink but to trust, wait, and obey, knowing that the Lord will provide me with His strength, confidence, and direction. This is a practice I am learning to incorporate into my daily life, and it is where my confidence truly resides.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

As I navigate my sophomore year of college, I am exploring ideas related to modeling, dancing, and fitness clothing, inspired by my background in fitness. In the modeling arena, I am developing resources aimed at assisting newcomers and individuals looking to enhance their presence in the industry. These initiatives include upcoming ebooks, modeling seminars, and classes grounded in biblical principles to guide participants through the entertainment industry. Additionally, I am creating resources to help models connect with photographers and address other essential needs.

Although I have temporarily set aside my passion for dance to balance my commitments, I have a strong desire to integrate hip-hop and praise dancing to reach a wider audience and glorify the Lord’s kingdom.

While I am actively pursuing these ideas, I am also seeking guidance through prayer to ensure they align with the Lord’s will for my life. Though I am eager to move forward, I have committed my aspirations to Him and am seeking direction on the path I should take.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The most important advice I can offer anyone is to remember your “why.” Keeping this in mind can significantly guide you throughout your journey.

One of the most impactful pieces of wisdom I received came from a dear friend who is also a sister in Christ and a mentor. During a challenging season in my life, I needed someone to confide in—someone who would truly listen and understand what I was going through. She shared a profound insight that has stayed with me: “No matter how low the valley gets, your job is to walk through it; don’t get stuck there.”

To this day, I don’t think she realizes the depth of her impact on me. She not only provided a safe space for me to express my feelings without judgment but also planted a seed in my heart to keep moving forward, no matter how difficult times may become. I learned that the Lord is with me in both the valleys and the mountaintops, and that every season serves a purpose, even if I don’t fully understand it at the time.

So, I encourage others: even if you’re struggling to comprehend the season you’re in, continue to trust the Lord’s plan. Don’t get stuck in your valley moments—embrace them, learn from them, and allow yourself to grow.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I am actively seeking partnerships with individuals, brands, and potential business collaborators who share the vision I believe the Lord is guiding me to bring to life.

Whether in modeling, dancing, or the development of activewear , I am eager to work with anyone that God connects me with. The best way to reach me is through email or direct messages on my Instagram page.
