Meet Kieara Francis

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kieara Francis . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Kieara, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

To be honest, you don’t. At least not at first. It’s extremely hard to be confident at something that is totally new to you, especially if you’re a content creator like myself and need to share it with the world. It’s so scary but, it’s about knowing your vision and having the courage to say that no matter what happens, you’re going to keep pushing until you achieve your goals. Courage, patience and perseverance is the key.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

My journey as a content creator began 10 years ago. When I started, I had no idea what I was doing. I just knew that I loved creating content and teaching. 4 years after starting, I went to nursing school and starting documenting my journey as a nursing student as well as skin care and content creation tips since my audience kept asking questions about my editing.

Now, 10 years later, I’m a nurse and full time content creator. I still share nursing content but I now also coach others on how to become influencers or UGC creators and,how to work with brands. I offer 1 on 1 calls, various digital products to help get people started as well as portfolio services where, I create high quality media kits and portfolios for content creators who are ready to start pitching and working with brands.

It’s been a long journey but I am absolutely loving it and can’t wait to see what the future brings !

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Courage, patience and perseverance were the 3 qualities that helped me a TON on my journey and I think that these are qualities that any aspiring content creator needs to have. You have to have the courage to put yourself & your work out there, the patience to continue to learn because there will always be room to improve . Becoming a content creator means that you’re ok with being a student for a long time. Things are always changing, new apps are always coming out and so, you have to be willing to adapt to that. Lastly, you need to be able to persevere even if you’re not seeing the results you want right away. It can be really hard to put in a bunch of time into creating a piece of content that doesn’t get many views but, you have to be able to pick yourself up and keep at it. It can be tough but, the reward is so much sweeter when you can look back at your growth as a creator and see how far you’ve come.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I’m looking to work with any aspiring content creators out there who may need some extra support and guidance on their journey as well as any brands, hotels/Airbnbs, spas & restaurant owners who are looking for UGC creators or influencers to help take high quality content that can be used for advertising .
