Meet Kierra Roberson

We recently connected with Kierra Roberson and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kierra, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

I have always been extremely optimistic. I have always been the type of person to go for what I want and not care what anybody has to say or think. It plays hand and hand with my resilience, I don’t ever look at things like they unobtainable. I’m very much so a “when the time comes” type of person. When things don’t go my way I know there is something even better on its way that I may not see or understand yet. Everything that’s for me will always be for me is something I live by.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

GlowingWithKi is built off of my personal journey with self love and self care. Everything I do, sell, and preach about I have seen the benefits myself in some way shape or form. This makes everything so personal between my clients, customers, and supporters. GWK comes from a place of love, authenticity, and vulnerability. All of those things I feel I am a master of and what makes GWK such a safe space. We are continuously growing, learning, and healing together.

All of the services I offer are an experience customized to each specific persons needs. From facials to waxing, to makeup. These needs may change everytime we see each other or they may stay the same, either way I cater to those things. Aromatherapy and music are a big part of each service as well. To know me is to know music is my first love and a way I love to connect to people. After a while of getting to know and learn my clients music taste the customizations start to get to an even deeper level!

You get an aromatic experience the second you walk into GWK that relaxes and uplifts you at the same time. We use different blends throughout services to help set the mood and the help with an even more full body experience. The goal at GWK for for everyone to leave glowing from the inside out!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I think focus, determination, resilience, and optimism are really important as an entrepreneur. Set those goals and do not look back. Once you start which is the hardest part you have to just keep going no matter what. Take breaks and reset as many times as you need but never give up. Literally do not let it be an option. When you start to feel like giving up that just means it’s time to go back to the drawing board and shift things to be more aligned with you again. Also, perfect and explore your craft as much as possible. Never stop learning and improving based off of what you learn. Always give yourself credit for where you are but space to continuously improve.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

A big part of GWK is collaboration. I love to support and recommend a lot of brands that I personally love myself. I sell products from other skincare brands, a seamstress, authors, candle makers and more. I’m always looking for more things to bring into GWK that I grow to love and want to incorporate into the treatment room vibe or services. It’s exciting to find things I know my clients and customers will love too. I also love to support content creators which also helps to support me.
