Hi Kikue, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
My optimism was built through practice – reading books on mindset, listening to audio from inspiring people, surrounding myself with positive energy, and being intentional about not feeding into negative people or thoughts. We all have the conscious choice to look for gratitude, growth, or understanding in every situation. And that doesn’t mean ignoring challenges, it just means facing them with clarity and a solution-focused mindset. At Fiora Aesthetics, we bring this same approach to our work; we focus on celebrating the beauty in every person and highlighting their natural allure. We’re honest and real about the concerns and goals our clients share, and we meet them with approachable, uplifting solutions.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
My mission is to help others feel uplifted, confident, and sexy – like the very best version of themselves. At Fiora Aesthetics, we use medical aesthetic treatments like facial balancing with fillers, biostimulants, wrinkle relaxers, medical-grade skincare and skin rejuvenation to nurture healthy, glowing skin.
What’s most exciting is seeing the smiles, happy tears, and “thank you” texts from clients walking with more confidence and radiance than they imagined. We recently launched PRF and PRP/PRF Biofiller – regenerative, 100% natural treatments made from your body’s own healing cells. These treatments refresh under-eyes, boost hair growth and fullness, and improve overall skin health. Personally, this is one of my favorite treatments to receive myself, and I’m thrilled to bring that naturally beautiful, refreshed feeling to my patients.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back on my first two years as an entrepreneur, the three key things are: understanding manifestation, quality over quantity, and being steadfast.
First, manifestation isn’t just wishing for something – it’s embodying it. You have to feel it, act like it, and truly believe it. For example, most people who want success say something like, “I’m going to be a millionaire,” and think just believing it is enough. But true manifestation happens when you act like a millionaire: dedicated, consistent, focused, understanding your strengths and weaknesses, and knowing how money works. You can replace this example with anything – if you want quality clients, you must first offer quality transformations; if you want loyal clients, you must first be loyal and trustworthy. It’s about aligning your actions and mindset with the results and people you want to attract.
Second, quality over quantity builds long-term success. When I first started, I was constantly advised to blast Meta ads with current specials to attract as many clients as possible. It brought in a lot of people who were only looking for discounts and free services. Now, I still run ads but focus on showing real results, and it attracts people who truly value the transformations we offer. This principle applies to all aspects of my business: I always buy the highest-quality products even if they cost more, from fillers to wrinkle relaxers, skincare, and even PRP tubes for drawing blood. This is one thing we never compromise on.
Third, being steadfast — loyal, firm, and unwavering in your beliefs — has been essential. When you start a business, establish your mission and core values before you begin, and stick to them. This doesn’t mean you can’t pivot when necessary, but having those pillars makes tough decisions much easier. For example, my mission has always been to uplift others with quality aesthetic treatments, natural results, and authenticity. When I was deciding which microneedling device to invest in, I had very limited funds because I was so new in business. There were tons of cost-effective options, but I went ahead and chose SkinPen (the “Mercedes of Microneedling”) despite its higher cost because I knew it would consistently deliver exceptional results. My commitment to quality was unwavering, and it outweighed saving a couple thousand dollars when money was tight. Another way you can develop being steadfast is connecting to your deeper, personal “why.” Yes, my mission benefits our amazing Fiora Family, but my personal why – building a successful business so I can take care of my parents as they grow older – is what drives me when entrepreneurship gets challenging.
My advice to anyone early in their journey: truly embody the results you want to attract, focus on quality over chasing quantity or shortcuts, and define your mission and values clearly so you have unwavering guidance in every decision. Combine these three principles, and you’ll set a solid foundation for success.
Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
Our ideal client is someone who values skin health and appearance the same way we do. They understand that medical aesthetics isn’t about quick fixes, trends, or doing everything at once – it’s about thoughtful, personalized care over time. Our clients understand that when you look good, you feel good — and that confidence comes from caring for your skin over time.
