Meet Kim Della Porta

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kim Della Porta. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Kim, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

My purpose as a Mama Coach really came out of no where. Growing up I always knew I wanted to help people, but I never quite knew EXACTLY what I wanted to do or how that would manifest later in life.

Working at non-profits and volunteering was the start of that journey, but once I became a mom, I finally realized that helping other mamas was my true purpose! That is where I truly feel at home and where I believe I can make the biggest difference. I am here to support all the mamas as they learn how to stop using “busy” as an excuse so that they can put their health & happiness first and live a life they love!

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

As a Mama Coach, I am here to guide mamas on their journey to better health and happiness. I coach on a variety of topics including time management, routines, getting a better handle on stress, sleep improvement, healthy eating and so much more! I work one-on-one and in group settings with clients to create step-by-step plans to help my mamas achieve their own unique goals (because we are all different so no cookie cutter coaching here!!).

My signature course is “Lighten the Load of Motherhood: Stress Management & Routines for Mamas”. This innovative online course is tailored to meet moms where they are and get them to where they want to go. It provides actionable steps for improving stress management, implementing effective routines, and prioritizing what truly matters.

Additionally, I just launched a 4 Week Coaching program called “The Less Stressed Mom”. This program includes an online component, weekly group coaching calls and a Facebook community so that the moms inside feel supported and seen as they make BIG changes to their stress management plans.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Individuality – We are all different so I think that recognizing that when we are thinking about our health and our needs is so important. Sometimes we hope that what worked for someone we know will yield the same result for us, but in actuality it may or may not work. BUT taking the time (and sometimes trial and error) to figure out what does work for us can be a great growing and learning experience!

Accountability – Most people know the things they need to be doing, but don’t take the time to actually DO THE THING they know they need to do. That is why working with a coach is so impactful. Having someone to check in on you and hold you accountable is a great tool to achieve your goals. And coaches aren’t exempt from needing accountability. So finding a friend, colleague or coach can really benefit you no matter who you are!

Flexibility – I am definitely a person who thrives in routines and loves a plan, but knowing when you need to flex and make a change can be so helpful and supportive. And to not view having to make the change as a failure, it is just an adjustment! Adjust and keep going!

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I am always looking to partner and collaborate with other coaches, podcasters, companies or organizations that support moms and families.
