Meet Kimberli Davino

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kimberli Davino. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kimberli below.

Hi Kimberli , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

Honestly? I get it from having no other choice. Resilience wasn’t something I consciously decided to have—it’s something I had to build, over and over again.

When challenges keep coming, when they hold a chokehold on your life, you either let them consume you or you fight. And I choose to fight.

My endometriosis constantly tries to bring me down. If I let it, I’d be in bed every single day—but I refuse to let that be my life. So I push through. I fight for the days that feel good, for the moments that bring me joy, for the life I want to live.

Building my business is another battle. It’s not easy. There are months I wonder if I’ll make it, moments of doubt that creep in. But then I remind myself—this is what I want. This is what I’m meant to do. And because of that, I keep going.

Resilience has come from living through these struggles. And as crappy as they are, I’m also thankful for them. Because within them, I’ve built strength. Within them, I’ve become the woman I am today.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Savannah has a way of wrapping itself around you. It’s a city that lingers in your heart—the cobblestone streets, the tucked-away courtyards, the way the Spanish moss dances in the breeze. I fell in love with it, and I wanted to create something that helped others experience that same magic. Especially because I feel like there are just way too many generic “resources” out there.

So that’s why I created Cobblestone and Moss, a virtual guidebook. It’s more than a virtual guide though—it’s a collection of my favorite places, experiences, and hidden gems. It’s the cozy coffee shop where I lose track of time, the boutiques filled with handcrafted treasures, the quiet corners that most people walk right past. Savannah has so much more to offer than what’s on the surface, and I want to share that with you.

I’ve also always been passionate about community—about supporting the small businesses, the artists, the makers who pour their hearts into what they do. They deserve to be seen, to be celebrated. And I don’t feel like there are enough resources where that happens! Especially for visitors to see. That’s why I’ve made it a priority to highlight them in the guide—so when you visit, you’re not just passing through, you’re becoming part of something bigger.

I know trip planning can feel overwhelming. Where do you eat? What’s actually worth seeing? How do you make the most of your time? I’ve put together insider recommendations, easy-to-navigate categories, direct links to menus and reservations, and even a sample itinerary to help take the stress out of it all. But if you’re looking for something even more tailored to you, I also create customized itineraries based on your interests, pace, and travel style—so your Savannah experience feels effortless, personal, and exactly what you’re looking for.

This guide isn’t about checking off a list of “must-sees.” It’s about experiencing Savannah the way a local does—finding the spots that make you pause, that make you feel something, that you’ll want to come back to again and again.

I am so proud of the hard work and love I have put into, and continue to put into, this guide.

My hope is that Cobblestone and Moss helps you fall in love with Savannah over and over again, the way I have!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

1. Deep Love for Community & Supporting Others
I genuinely care about lifting up small businesses, artisans, and my community—and that’s the heart of Cobblestone and Moss. My ability to see and celebrate others makes my guidebook more than just a resource; it’s a reflection of my passion for connecting people with meaningful experiences.

Advice: For those just starting out, focus on relationships over transactions. Engage with people, share their work, collaborate, and build something that feels like it truly belongs to the community. Your success will naturally grow from those connections.

2. Storytelling & Authenticity
My ability to capture Savannah in a way that feels intimate and real is what makes my work stand out. I don’t just list places—I tell stories, create moments, and make people feel something. It can be a very powerful skill.

Advice: Don’t be afraid to share your perspective. People connect with realness, not just polished marketing. Whatever it may be, infuse it with your voice, your experiences, and your heart.

3. Resilience & Adaptability
Building a business—especially one that depends on curation, creativity, and visibility—isn’t easy. I have faced challenges (imposter syndrome, chronic illness, self-doubt), but I keep showing up, pivoting when needed, and making it work.

Advice: Expect setbacks and give yourself permission to evolve. What you start with might not be where you end up, and that’s okay. Keep learning, adjusting, and trusting yourself even when things feel uncertain.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

YES! Absolutely. Community, connections and networking are my jam.
