Meet Kimberly Fisher

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kimberly Fisher. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Kimberly, you’ve got such an interesting story, but before we jump into that, let’s first talk about a topic near and dear to us – generosity. We think success, happiness and wellbeing depends on authentic generosity and empathy and so we’d love to hear about how you become such a generous person – where do you think your generosity comes from?
I think generosity comes naturally to me, but the experience of traveling and community service as a child to develop empathy helped shape that mindset.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am a professional freelance travel writer, blogger, author, on-camera host and entrepreneur.

I specialize in lifestyle and luxury travel, including art, beauty, culture, destinations, fashion, food, fitness/wellness, events, hotels, lifestyle, sailing, sustainability, wine & spirits. I am also involved in a women-owned and operated tequila company called Casa Del Sol.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three qualities that were most impactful in my journey are flexibility, curiosity and resilience.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
One of my favorite books that I constantly recommend to other people is “The Four Agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz. Based on ancient Toltec wisdom, the insights are valuable, it’s a quick read and easy to apply to everyday life.
