Meet Kimberly Shead

We recently connected with Kimberly Shead and have shared our conversation below.

Kimberly, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?
Creativity has always been a thing that comes easily to me. My curiosity has led me to different domains in the arts in music. I firmly believe that diversifying my learning experience will broaden my creative perspective. throughout my life, I have cultivated this gift by continuously seeking out opportunities for growth and learning. I have found that by embracing the process of exploring different subjects, my creativity flourishes. As I gain new information my mind connects the dots generating innovative and unique ideas. So learning fuels my imagination.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

So stay tuned for that and my relaunching of “Let’s Love Life Again”

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Starting off I’ve made many mistakes. Even now I still stumble. Over the years some of the qualities that I’ve developed are 1 .self-confidence. Through my mistakes, I have learned the importance of self-confidence and believing in my abilities. I realized that self-doubt can hinder progress and prevent me from reaching my full potential. 2. Patience I have learned that success and growth do not happen overnight. It requires dedication and resilience, and most importantly, it has taught me to stay focused, even when faced with setbacks or delays. It has allowed me to take a step back, assess the situation, and find alternative solutions instead of giving up. last but not least perseverance is another important quality I have acquired. In the face of adversity, I have learned to keep pushing forward, even when things get tough. I have come to understand that failure is not the end, but rather an opportunity to learn and grow. Overall, these qualities have allowed me to navigate through various challenges and grow as an individual. They have helped me overcome my mistakes and continue moving forward toward my goals. Though I still stumble at times, I am confident that with self-confidence, patience, and perseverance, I have the tools to overcome any obstacle that comes my way, and now so could you. If you learn these three things earlier in your journey it would make your journey easier to navigate.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?
Just a year ago I dealt with an issue that I thought was the end of the world for me. All of my social media was deleted. I thought this was the end of everything that I’ve worked for. I only had 5,000- 6,000 followers but it still sucked starting back over. Losing my social media accounts might have felt like a setback and a loss of my online presence. It was very frustrating to lose the connections and progress that I have built up over time. However, It took months for me to realize that setbacks like these can also provide opportunities for growth and new beginnings. Starting back over was challenging, but it gave me a chance to reassess my online presence and make improvements. I took the moment to refine my goals, curate my content more effectively, and engage with a new audience. It was a chance to reinvent myself and my online brand. I started to remember, the number of followers doesn’t necessarily reflect the value of your online presence. So I focus on building genuine connections and engaging with a community that appreciates what I have to offer. Quality engagement and authentic interactions are often more valuable than a high follower count. So I always remind myself when I look at my 500-600 followers don’t let this setback discourage you or make you feel like all your efforts were in vain. Social media platforms come and go, but your skills, expertise, and passion remain. You have the opportunity to rebuild and come back stronger than ever.
