Meet Kimberly Thalken

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kimberly Thalken. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Kimberly, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

With the world changing so rapidly—and our individual lives shifting along with it—resilience has become one of the most essential and practical skill sets we can cultivate. For me, resilience is built through daily habits and mindful choices that keep me centered, and bring me back to that place when I need it, inspired, and connected to what matters most.

My foundation begins with self-care, reflection, movement, and inner connection. I’m intentional about maintaining balance and making decisions that align with my priorities and values—knowing when to say yes and when to say no. Recently, I realized that fun is an essential value for me. I imagine my life as a wheel and fun at the center of that wheel, with all the different aspects of my life radiating from that center. When I create from an intentional place because I’m clear on my priorities everything else flows more harmoniously.

Connecting inward to my own inner wisdom is also a core part of my resilience—and the foundation of the work I do with others. The guidance I receive helps me navigate life with greater peace, ease, and flow, minimizing unnecessary struggle. I also keep my mindset strong by conditioning it daily with uplifting content, spending time in nature, and engaging in things that inspire me. Sometimes that means taking my laptop outside and working beneath the pine trees to receive the benefits of nature—it’s a simple shift that supports wellbeing.

When life feels out of balance, I pause to tune in and ask what I need. Sometimes that means more rest and introspection; other times, it’s social connection or more movement and exercise. That awareness helps me recalibrate quickly instead of getting stuck in stress or overwhelm.

As a HeartMath® Certified Coach in Building Personal Resilience™, I also practice the HeartMath tools that support emotional regulation and coherence. These techniques help me sustain a state of inner balance and clarity, and they’re an integral part of what I teach in my coaching programs.

Resilience, to me, isn’t about pushing through until we burn out. It’s about the daily practices that support our well-being and help us experience more ease and balance. It’s also about knowing how to shift our state when life gets difficult so we can return to joy more quickly.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

After spending 15 years in the corporate entertainment industry, I felt a deeper calling—one that led me to step away from what was familiar and create a life anchored in purpose and meaning. In 2013, I founded my wellness practice, Elevating Consciousness As One, to help people bring higher-consciousness into daily living to support transformation, expand potential, and revolutionize life experiences.

Today, I work as a Transformational Coach, HeartMath® Certified Coach, Intuitive Channel, Medium, Energy Healer, and Hypnotherapist. My focus is on helping individuals expand their awareness, release limitations, and step into their highest potential.

The foundation of my work is built on three core pillars:
• As an intuitive channel, it’s about engaging the soul—to connect with our inner guidance so that we live from a higher place.
• As an energy healer, it’s about purifying the energy field—releasing the patterns and emotions that hold us back so that we can move toward a desired outcome.
• As a hypnotherapist, it’s about upgrading the mind—rewiring subconscious patterns so our thoughts and beliefs support us in living our ideal life.

When we engage the soul, purify our energy, and upgrade the mind, it opens the space for beautiful transformation. What excites me most is witnessing those moments when people start to see and feel what’s truly possible for them—their energy shifts, their confidence grows, and synchronicities begin to show up that light up their world.

Over the years, I’ve created transformational experiences through private sessions, retreats, workshops, and coaching programs. I’ve also had the joy of co-hosting two podcasts—Inspired Living Radio on OmTimes Radio and The Hour to Empower on W4WN—which allowed me to reach audiences around the world. My work has also been featured in print publications, podcasts, and speaking engagements covering topics on spiritual wellbeing and personal development.

Right now, I’m continuing to expand my offerings through live workshops, corporate retreats, online programs, and collaborations that support my mission to help others awaken to their potential, align with their truth, and become powerful creators in shaping the life they deeply desire.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, three qualities have been the most impactful on my journey: knowing my why, following my passion, and living in alignment with what lifts me up.

Knowing my why has been the anchor that keeps me grounded and inspired. Understanding why I chose this path brings fulfillment because I know I’m contributing to something greater than myself. Being of service feels natural—it’s part of who we are at the soul level. It always feels good when we give, support, or help another. It reminds us that we’re all connected.

Following my passion keeps my work and my life vibrant. My work truly is my passion—it’s a space of constant learning and growth. Whether I’m leading a session, teaching, writing, creating a new workshop, recording a podcast, or taking a class myself, I’m always expanding. I love integrating new insights into my own life and then sharing them with others. Passion keeps me inspired, connected to my purpose, and it’s a reminder that we matter. We each play an incredibly meaningful role in this world.

Living in alignment with what lifts me up is the ongoing practice of applying the three pillars of my work—engaging the soul, purifying my energy, and upgrading my mind—into my own life. I make space for self-care and reflection and choose experiences that make me happy: walking by the lake, playing tennis with my husband and daughter, hiking with our dogs, or having dinner with friends and diving into deep, meaningful conversations. These moments are renewing and I deeply value connection…connection to myself, to life and those I love.

One of the best pieces of advice I can offer is this: be intentional in all that you do. Know your “why.” What do you want to create, and why does it matter to you? When you’re clear on your intentions, it becomes easier to stay committed to your path—even when challenges arise—because purpose gives you direction, strength, and momentum.

One more thing we can’t ignore…be ok with change. Your passions, your why and what lifts you up may change over time and it’s ok. Life is not meant to stay the same day in and day out – we’re expansive beings, and when we embrace that we can appreciate life as it unfolds and welcome in new opportunities.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

Yes, I’m always open to partnering with individuals and organizations who share a vision of elevating human potential and inspiring transformation. Collaboration is such a powerful way to amplify positive impact, and I love co-creating these types of experiences.

I’m especially interested in collaborating with wellness centers, conscious brands, corporate wellness programs, and event organizers who are passionate about personal development, resilience, and holistic wellbeing. Whether through workshops, retreats, or speaking engagements.

For anyone who feels called to collaborate, you can reach out through my website www.kimberlythalken.com or reach out to me on social media. Let’s create a ripple effect of goodness in the world together!
