Hi Kimberly, so great to have you on the platform. There’s so much we want to ask you, but let’s start with the topic of self-care. Do you do anything for self-care and if so, do you think it’s had a meaningful impact on your effectiveness?

I practice many forms of self-care, but the most important is honoring my body’s needs. I make a conscious effort to listen closely to what my body is telling me at all times, and I prioritize rest and downtime to recharge. I also meditate and take walks almost every day, and I limit my use of social media to reduce distractions and maintain mental clarity.

These practices have had a significant impact on my effectiveness. By taking care of my physical and mental health, I’m able to stay focused, manage stress more easily, and show up as a more energized, balanced, and productive person in all areas of my life.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am own a small business called The Lipstick Witch, where I am a professional Lipsologist, also known as a Lip Print Reader.

Being a Lipsologist means I interpret kiss marks made by kissing a piece of paper after applying lipstick.

I primarily offer lip print readings at special events such as bridal events, birthday parties, holiday parties, retreats, and corporate functions, as well as through brand partnerships. In addition to event-based readings, I also offer private sessions via my website and at community gatherings.

What excites me most about reading kisses is the opportunity to help people rediscover themselves. I love creating a space for authentic connection, where clients can see themselves in a new light, recognize their unique strengths, and be reminded of just how beautiful and amazing they truly are. Every session is a chance to illuminate what makes someone special and reflect what’s going on in their lives at that moment. I pride myself on ensuring that everyone I read leaves feeling seen, and more empowered than when they first sat down.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I think the three most important skills I’ve developed on my journey to becoming a Lipsologist are empathy, mindfulness, and customer service.

1. Empathy:
I’ve always been a sensitive person, and I am clairsentient dominant, which means I feel emotions strongly.

Empathy, for me, has been a muscle I’ve strengthened throughout my life simply by being in a world that needs so much care. I have found that when you’re open to seeing life from another person’s perspective, the way you listen, speak, and connect shifts.

In my readings, this allows me to truly hold space for my clients.
For new readers, I suggest spending time just listening to others, ask questions, and try to understand someone else without needing to fix or respond.

2. Mindfulness:
I started meditating as a teenager, but my practice deepened in my 30s after reading books by Deepak Chopra. Meditation keeps me grounded and connected to my higher self and to the universe. Even just five minutes a day can change your energy and increase your intuitive awareness.

If you’re new to mindfulness, start small. Use guided meditations or simply sit in silence and focus on your breath. Consistency is more important than the length of time spent meditating.

3. Customer service:
I’ve worked with people all my life. Being in service-based roles taught me how to adapt, connect, and care. It’s helped me approach my Lipsology work not as a performer, but as a means of support. I’m not here to impress people with psychic insights, I’m here to serve with heart, presence, and integrity.
