Meet Kira Gaddy

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kira Gaddy. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kira below.

Kira, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
Confidence & Self esteem is something that is always evolving & going to new heights. For me it comes from intimately knowing who you are, where you’ve come from, & whom you belong to. I firmly believe that my Faith In God & is the foundation that my confidence & self esteem is built upon & my experiences in life shape a figurative structure that is continuously growing.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m A photographer based out of the Metro-Atlanta area. I love capturing moments & helping to create memories that last a lifetime whether it be for event, or family portrait. The great thing about photos is that they last forever but a great photo not only captures the moment, it holds the memory; a stamp in time that someone can always refer back to. I thoroughly enjoy creating art through images & being able to share in confidence building experiences just make my heart smile.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
To succeed at anything you have to be willing to put in the work. We live in a microwave society & in this day & age people want things immediately but nothing great comes easy. With hardwork & focus you can accomplish anything. You also have to focus on what you can control. Often times we stress out & worry about alot of things that are outside of our grasp. Focus on what’s Important & what’s within reasonable reach.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
In business its very easy to get Overwhelmed but its important to have balance & boundaries. Anytime I start to get overwhelmed I find its best to take a step back. Whether I take the time to do absolutely nothing or find an outing to take part in it grants an opportunity for peace & for me peace is always an answer for being overwhelmed.
