Hi Kristen-Anne, thank you so much for opening up with us about some important, but sometimes personal topics. One that really matters to us is overcoming Imposter Syndrome because we’ve seen how so many people are held back in life because of this and so we’d really appreciate hearing about how you overcame Imposter Syndrome.
When I first started in aesthetics, I often questioned whether I was “enough.” Enough experience, enough knowledge, enough confidence to guide people in such a personal journey of self-care and transformation. Imposter syndrome has a way of making you overlook your training and your hard work, and instead focus on doubts.
What helped me overcome it was focusing on my clients. Every time someone walked out of Reviv Beauty Med Spa feeling radiant and renewed, it reminded me why I was here. I realized that my role wasn’t about being perfect — it was about being present, listening, and continuously learning so I could serve better.
I also leaned into community and mentorship. Surrounding myself with peers and professionals who encouraged me, shared wisdom, and celebrated progress made a huge difference. And over time, I learned that confidence isn’t something you wait to feel before you act — it’s something you build by showing up consistently and proving to yourself that you can do it.
Now, whenever doubt creeps in, I remind myself that the work I do changes lives in small but powerful ways. That’s bigger than fear, and it’s what keeps me moving forward.


Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
At Reviv Beauty Med Spa, we believe self-care is more than just aesthetics — it’s about helping people feel radiant, confident, and empowered. As a board-certified nurse practitioner and founder, my passion is creating an experience where medical expertise meets artistry, and every client feels truly seen and cared for.
What makes us unique is our dedication to natural-looking results and personalized care. Whether it’s injectables, advanced skin treatments, or wellness-focused services, we tailor each plan to the individual so they leave feeling refreshed, confident, and renewed.
Right now, we’re excited about expanding our services to bring more comprehensive, skin-health–focused treatments that go beyond the surface. Our goal is not only to enhance beauty but also to support long-term skin wellness and confidence.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, three qualities have been most impactful in my journey:
1. Resilience. Building and growing a business comes with challenges. Resilience allowed me to push forward through setbacks and see them as opportunities to learn and adapt.
2. Continuous Learning. Aesthetics is a field that’s always evolving. Staying committed to ongoing education sharpened my skills and gave my clients confidence that I was offering them the very best.
3. Empathy. Listening to clients and truly understanding their goals has been the heart of Reviv Beauty’s success. Technical expertise matters, but genuine connection and trust are what create lasting relationships.
For anyone early in their journey, my advice is this: embrace resilience, never stop learning, and lead with empathy. These qualities will carry you through challenges and set the foundation for lasting success.


Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
The people who have been most helpful in my journey are my clients. Their trust and confidence in me pushed me to grow, refine my skills, and continually invest in learning. Every time a client chose Reviv Beauty, it reminded me that I had a responsibility not just to provide a treatment, but to create an experience that made them feel valued and confident.
In many ways, my clients have been my greatest teachers. They’ve shown me the importance of empathy, patience, and listening — lessons that have shaped not only my practice but also who I am as a person. Knowing that I could play a role in someone’s journey to feel more radiant and renewed has kept me motivated through every challenge.
