Meet Kristen Twele

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kristen Twele a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristen, so happy to have you on the platform and I think our readers are in for a treat because you’ve got such an interesting story and so much insight and wisdom. So, let’s start with a topic that is relevant to everyone, regardless of industry etc. What do you do for self-care and how has it impacted you?
Yoga. Lots and lots of yoga! LOL. It has given me an outlet to channel frustration, release stress and just get out of my head from time to time.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Currently, I’m working on expanding my creative capabilities and I really want to move into a space where I can help people in the yoga industry create content that is well produced, looks good and fits their mission/brand. Really trying to combine my creative producer skills with my love of the yoga practice.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The first thing that comes to mind is learning. Just being open to learn. Even if it might not have anything to do with what you are doing, learning how different industries and positions work can often help you understand a different side of things. Also learning new skills in your field is always crucial, staying on top of the latest trends or technology can go a long way. The second thing would be to “find your why” and become okay with the fact that your “why” might change a couple of times during your career or life and that’s okay. But knowing why you are doing something and how that fills your cup is a huge piece of the puzzle.
And the last thing is to just be honest and transparent. Not everyone expects you to have a perfect day every day, but being honest about how you’re feeling can go a long way with most people.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Any videographers, editors, content curators or content creators! I love connecting and seeing different ways people in the creative space interpret content.

Also – any yoga instructors or studios looking for help with their content. I’d love to connect if you’re in the Orlando area or in Florida in general and help you film some quality promotional content for you, your brand, or your space.
