Meet Kristian Wilson

We were lucky to catch up with Kristian Wilson recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristian, so happy to have you with us today and there is so much we want to ask you about. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others developed certain skills or qualities that we are struggling with can be helpful. Along those lines, we’d love to hear from you about how you developed your ability to take risk?
I believe the concept of “no risk, no reward.” I’ve been taking risk since I was younger. I always had an understanding that I never want to live life with regrets. In order to not regret anything, I pushed myself to do things I’ve never done before.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m a founder and CEO of multiple brands. The brands I own are Abundant Fitness Gym, Abundant Dance Studios, House of Abs training, and Primary Aim Content Creation Agency. I identify myself as a business builder with a passion in not only building my own brands, but also other businesses. I also do a lot of work to help build my community in the health and wellness space.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back on my journey I learned the importance of skills and education in your career field. The skills I gained in my journey is understanding branding, marketing, and operational management. Those three aspects to my development as a business owner are very important. Other qualities I have worked on is personal development, discipline, patience, self-awareness, and plenty of others.

My advice to anyone is to become a better person first and be in a place of solitude to learn more about the pros and cons of yourself. It’s hard to look yourself in the mirror and be honest about who you are. But, focus on who you want to become. That’s a key gem I have learned over the years.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
I’ll say “Influencer” by Robert B. Cialdini. I learned a lot about sales, teamwork, marketing, and personal development.
