Meet Kristin Erhartic

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kristin Erhartic. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Kristin with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

Growing up, I always had my own thoughts and aspirations. While my parents emphasized the importance of a strong work ethic, I believe my own drive and determination are what truly shaped my dedication. My biological mother was extremely controlling—dictating what I wore, where I lived after moving out, and only offering support if I followed the path she had chosen for me.

Additionally, having a child while still in high school meant I had to take my responsibilities seriously from a young age. With no family support, I had no choice but to take immense pride in my work and approach it with unwavering commitment. Earning my own income was the only way I could make independent decisions and ensure that my child had food and shelter.

At times, I do reflect on how work became my number one priority, sometimes at the expense of balance. However, I still take great pride in my sense of urgency, my ability to push myself further each day, and my commitment to growth. I believe in constantly learning from both successes and challenges, always striving to improve.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

At the heart of my business, The Druzy Rose, is the goal of building a strong brand with sustainable revenue and growth. However, beyond the numbers, my true passion has always been deeply anthropologic—I believe in fostering community, supporting charities, and creating a space where people feel valued. Even if I won the lottery, I would still be dedicated to my business and its role in uplifting those around me.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of what I do is helping people feel confident, stylish, and empowered. Fashion is more than just clothing; it’s a way to express individuality and self-worth. Customer service is incredibly important to me—I want every person who walks through our doors or shops with us to feel heard, appreciated, and personally attended to.

My love for styling is rooted in highlighting each person’s natural beauty, helping them find pieces that flatter and celebrate their unique features. It’s not just about selling clothes—it’s about creating an experience where people walk away feeling better about themselves.

As for what’s ahead, I’m always looking for ways to expand and enhance our offerings, whether through special events, new product launches, or deeper community involvement. The Druzy Rose is more than just a business—it’s a space for connection, confidence, and giving back.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, three key qualities have been most impactful in my journey:

Honesty – Being honest with others and myself has been the foundation of my success. Honesty builds trust—whether with peers, employers, or now my personal clients. People appreciate transparency, and in both business and life, integrity goes a long way in forming lasting relationships.

Adaptability – In this industry, adaptability is crucial. You must be ready to pivot at any moment—whether it’s due to changes in client needs, shifting economic conditions, or even unexpected weather. Having a Plan B (and sometimes Plans C through Z) ensures that no challenge is insurmountable.

Endurance – Running a business and growing in today’s environment requires thick skin and relentless perseverance. There are long days, tough moments, and times when it feels like everything is working against you. While the wins should absolutely be celebrated, there are also days when you have to dig deep and push through. True success comes from resilience and a willingness to keep going, even when it’s hard.

For those early in their journey, my advice is to embrace these qualities intentionally. Be truthful in all your interactions, learn to adapt without hesitation, and develop the endurance to weather both the highs and lows. Success isn’t just about talent—it’s about persistence, flexibility, and integrity.

We’ve all got limited resources, time, energy, focus etc – so if you had to choose between going all in on your strengths or working on areas where you aren’t as strong, what would you choose?

While being an expert in a particular area is undoubtedly valuable, I believe it’s just as important to continue growing and developing in all aspects. I firmly stand by the quote, “If you are the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room.” Growth is essential—it pushes us to think critically, expand our skill sets, and become more well-rounded individuals.

When I started this journey, my strengths were in product selection and customer service—areas I felt naturally confident in. However, as I’ve grown, I’ve realized the importance of developing skills outside my comfort zone, particularly in business operations, financial management, and strategic planning. Understanding how to manage money, scale a business, and make informed financial decisions has been a learning curve, but an essential one.

The key is balance—leaning into your strengths while also challenging yourself to improve in areas that don’t come as naturally. That’s where real growth happens, and that’s what allows both individuals and businesses to thrive.
