We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Krisztina Balint. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Krisztina below.
Krisztina , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a deep sense of intuition and an innate ability to help others in ways that felt unconventional—ways that words couldn’t quite explain but my soul understood. Yet, despite this knowing, life pulled me in different directions for nearly 20 years, leading me away from what I now recognize as my true path.
It all began innocently enough, with choices that seemed logical and “normal.” I went to university, selecting a major that promised a secure and well-paying job. From there, I dipped my toes into various careers—working at restaurants, in a bank, as a mortgage agent, a real estate agent, and even for marketing agencies. I’ve done it all. And to be fair, I was good at it. I was a reliable employee, content enough in my roles, and adept at adapting to new challenges. But deep down, something always felt amiss, like I was playing a part in someone else’s story rather than living my own.
Life continued, as it often does. I got married, bought a house, and had children. These milestones—the ones society assures us will bring fulfillment and meaning—were indeed beautiful and transformative. Finding love and creating a family gave me new roles and responsibilities that I treasure deeply. But even as I embraced these blessings, I couldn’t shake the feeling that they weren’t the full picture of my purpose. My soul was still searching.
As I approached my 40s, that lingering sense of incompleteness became too loud to ignore. It was then that I began to explore energy healing—a realm that felt both foreign and familiar at the same time. This was the thing that had always come naturally to me, yet I had never fully acknowledged it. I had buried it beneath layers of practicality, external expectations, and the distractions of life. But as I started peeling back those layers and healing my own traumas, everything became clear.
The biggest revelation came when I confronted my childhood trauma and uncovered a pattern that had shaped so much of my life: over-adaptability. As a child, I learned to mold myself to fit any situation, to meet the expectations of others, to excel in whatever role was required of me. This ability to adapt became both my greatest strength and my greatest distraction. It allowed me to succeed in countless endeavors, but it also pulled me away from my own desires and deeper truths.
Looking back, I see how every step of my journey was necessary. Each experience, each career path, and each role I’ve played has given me valuable skills and lessons. But the most important lesson of all was this: my purpose is not tied to what I do. My purpose is simply to exist, to honor my worth, and to know that I am deserving of being here, just as I am.
Finding my purpose didn’t come from a single moment or achievement. It came from the quiet realization that my intuition and ability to help others are not just gifts—they are expressions of my true self. And now, as I step fully into this awareness, I’m no longer searching for purpose. I’m living it.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am the founder of The Pal Emporium, an online and in-person space dedicated to helping people on their journey toward holistic well-being and self-discovery. The Pal Emporium offers subconscious healing and Reiki services alongside a curated selection of holistic products available online, all chosen to support optimal health and balance.
On the product side, The Pal Emporium’s online shop features a range of wellness tools and natural remedies I personally believe in. Each product is carefully selected to enhance health and support a balanced lifestyle.
The most exciting part of my work is helping individuals connect with their subconscious to release blockages, heal traumas, and find clarity on their emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual paths. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness the transformations that take place during this journey.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back on my journey, I would say the three qualities or skills that had the most impact were discipline, a strong work ethic, and the commitment to being my best in whatever I tried. These traits helped me navigate different careers, challenges, and stages of life with resilience and determination. They provided me with the foundation to keep moving forward, even when the path wasn’t clear.
For those who are early in their journey of self-discovery and purpose, my advice is to stay true and authentic to yourself. In a world filled with distractions and external expectations, it’s easy to lose sight of who you are. If your life feels noisy or overwhelming, take time to find stillness. This stillness will allow you to reconnect with yourself and hear the inner voice that guides you.
Another important step is to look back and address the parts of your past that may be holding you back. Self-limiting beliefs, trapped emotions, and unresolved traumas can create barriers to your growth. By clearing these blockages and finding peace and forgiveness within yourself, you create space for true healing and self-discovery.
When a person is at peace within themselves, their body often reflects that harmony through optimal physical health. Emotional and mental clarity are deeply interconnected with physical well-being, and healing on all levels can help you move forward with purpose and alignment. Trust the process and honor your unique path.
Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
My ideal client is someone who feels lost or disconnected from their true self. If you find yourself questioning why you do the things you do, living a life that doesn’t align with your values, struggling to form meaningful connections, or feeling empty even after achieving your goals, you may be ready for healing.
Those who feel stuck in repeating harmful patterns or habits, unable to break free or learn the lessons life keeps presenting, may be carrying trapped emotions, self-limiting beliefs, or generational traumas. If this resonates with you, it could be your calling to begin a healing journey—a path to clearing those blocks, rediscovering yourself, and stepping into your purpose.
