Meet Krizia Caceres

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Krizia Caceres. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Krizia, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

My confidence has evolved over the years. As an adult, I felt secure in myself because I prioritized things that made me feel good like working out, dancing, and taking care of my body. However, after having my daughter, I struggled with self-esteem. I worried about whether I’d be able to lose the weight I had gained, and that period was incredibly challenging. I know many women experience similar insecurities after giving birth.
I overcame that phase by staying consistent, eating healthy, working out, practicing positive affirmations, and most importantly, being patient with myself. That journey not only helped me regain my confidence but also inspired me to help other women do the same. Now, through my classes, I teach women how to embrace their power, move with confidence, and feel amazing in their own skin.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am a dance instructor and fitness coach, specializing in heels dance and step aerobics. My brand, KZ Heels, is all about empowering individuals, especially women, to move with confidence, strength, and self-expression. Through my classes, I help people tap into their femininity, build self-esteem, and feel amazing in their bodies, whether they’re dancing in heels or breaking a sweat in sneakers.

What makes my work special is the community I’ve built. My classes are more than just dance. They’re a space where people can let go, feel supported, and embrace their power. Watching students grow in their confidence, both in and out of the studio, is the most rewarding part of what I do.

Right now, I’m excited about expanding my offerings with special events like Sip & Dance and Sip & Step, where we bring a fun, social element to dance and fitness. These events give people a chance to connect, let loose, and celebrate movement in a unique way.

Ultimately, my goal is to create experiences that uplift and inspire. Whether you’re stepping into the studio for the first time or a seasoned dancer, I want everyone to leave feeling confident, strong, and empowered.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, three qualities that had the biggest impact on my journey were resilience, self-discipline, and adaptability.
1. Resilience – There were many moments when I felt discouraged, whether it was struggling with self-confidence, facing setbacks, or navigating the challenges of building my brand. But I learned to keep pushing forward, even when things felt difficult. For those just starting out, my advice is to embrace challenges as part of the process. Setbacks aren’t failures. They’re lessons that will make you stronger.
2. Self-Discipline – Success doesn’t come overnight; it takes consistency. Whether it was training my body, improving my skills, or growing my business, discipline was key. I stayed committed even when I didn’t feel motivated. My advice? Find a routine that keeps you accountable. Set goals, stick to them, and trust that small, consistent actions will lead to big results.
3. Adaptability – The ability to evolve has been crucial in my journey. From adjusting my teaching style to expanding my brand with new classes and events, I’ve learned that growth requires flexibility. For those starting out, be open to learning and pivoting when necessary. The more you embrace change, the more opportunities you’ll create for yourself.

At the end of the day, success isn’t just about talent, it’s about persistence, dedication, and a willingness to grow. Stay committed to your journey, believe in yourself, and keep pushing forward.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

The most impactful thing my parents did for me was always believing in me and supporting my dreams. From a young age, they never doubted my passion for dance. They embraced it and encouraged me to pursue it wholeheartedly. One of the most meaningful things they did was transform our garage into a dance studio when I was in high school. That space became my sanctuary, where I could train, create, and grow as a dancer.

Their unwavering support gave me the confidence to chase my goals without hesitation. Knowing they believed in me made all the difference, and I’m forever grateful for the foundation they gave me to turn my passion into a career.
