We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kruxial Talent Agency a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Kruxial, thanks for sitting with us today to chat about topics that are relevant to so many. One of those topics is communication skills, because we live in an age where our ability to communicate effectively can be like a superpower. Can you share how you developed your ability to communicate well?
Well as a group of four likeminded individuals you could imagine that communicating effectively is extremely important. We communicate effectively by scheduling meetings to talk about key business points as a group to be sure everyone’s point of view is seen and heard. Our goal when communicating is to be sure no stone is left unturned to make decisions that would be best for the group as a group, we don’t make any assumptions of what another may say or agree to and won’t finalize on a business decision until everyone’s heard from.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Our business idea stemmed from our mutual love for modeling and the entertainment industry itself, we all have our hand in something whether it’s fashion modeling, print modeling, music, ETC. We know the struggle of getting collaborators or bookings, and want to make it easier for people like us to pursue their dreams and aspirations in this industry. We plan to promote and bring eyes to our talents and bring them bookings and business galore! Also we will play a role in an easy talent search for clients in need of models; we have them for you just pitch to us what you need and we will be sure to have a talent for you! While on this journey we’ve realized that this could also be a outlet for the younger generation to keep them busy and would love to be that outlet for them if any recreational centers are open to have us teach their kids and introductions to modeling we would be honored to do so. We will be hosting a spring networking event that information will be released soon via our social media platforms.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Three skills that were & still most impactful on our journey would have to be management, relationship building, & decision making. It’s mandatory to build some type of relationship with your team, so that you work as a team. It’s easy for us to come down to a decision, & remain on the same page, because we have built a relationship, additional to already sharing the same qualities. We know we’re here to help build each other, & work as a unit. Although it may seem easier to manage a business with a group versus alone, we’ve still had to learn how to manage between our personal lives, & individual responsibilities for our business, alongside finding time to communicate as a group & pitch new ideas.
Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
We would love to have clients to book our models/talents for fashion shows, ad campaigns, social media promos, ads, performances, etc. We would love models/ talents that has a drive and passion for this industry to apply. Someone who will give 110% even with their normal day to day life , and overall we just want to collaborate with people who love this industry and want to make a difference and break stereotypes.
