Meet Krysta Jones

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Krysta Jones a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Krysta , thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?
I am often the only one that looks like me in the room. Whether I’m the one of the only females, or significantly younger, or the only one with neck and hand tattoos, I use it to my advantage to connect with those that have open minds and forward thinking attitude. In a lot of cases it helps!!!

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
The THC Girls is a creative marketing and branding agency. I started the company in 2014 while I was working inside a few cultivations in Denver as the Medical market moved into Recreation. The High Country Girls aka THC Girls is a brand that starts and or scales brands through curating communities. In 2019 I notice the true value of having you network dialed in leading me to create The Highly Connected network. As I continued to connect and grow I was able to launch an app to really
streamline communication with in our network to connect our strong community. Currently we have an office at Skate Bird Miami called The Highly Connected Corner. We host events there and collaborate with the brands with in the community like Yetis and Gastronomy and other local
brands to activate and build. We host weekly workouts on Sundays where we work out as a team and then network for a few hours after since everyone that attends are owners, high performers, and influencers. That’s the kind of stuff we like doing, connecting with great people and being productive.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back I think that skills that truly have lead me to where I’m at, is doing things I don’t necessarily always want to do but know I should, recording data and tracking the things I do, creating a way for me to improve and follow up. Really just being consistent in managing and staying super organized in not only my business but also for my self.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
You can connect with my self, Krysta Jones and my brands a number of ways! You can find us online at WWW.Thehighcountrygirls.COM or on the apple and google play store (The Highly Connected app), or in person at Skate Bird Miami for our Sunday, Highly Motivated Workouts at The Highly
Connected Corner!
