Meet Krystal Smith

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Krystal Smith. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Krystal, so great to have you on the platform. There’s so much we want to ask you, but let’s start with the topic of self-care. Do you do anything for self-care and if so, do you think it’s had a meaningful impact on your effectiveness?

Self-care is essential, not just as a luxury, but as a vital practice for rejuvenating both body and mind. As a professional baker, the value of massages and spa treatments has become clear—these rituals are no longer indulgences but lifelines. After hours of standing and meticulously decorating, the strain on my body is inevitable. Self-care has shown me a powerful truth: when you prioritize your well-being, your body responds in kind, allowing you to keep giving your best, day after day.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am a professional baker that specializes in Pound Cakes. My menu is inclusive and includes cookies, pies, party treats and so much more. My passion for baking developed as a child. I watched my parents prepare meals and admired the joy their foods brought family and friends. I strive to bring joy and happiness to everyone that enjoys my desserts.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

1. Patience
2. The desire to practice and research.

Perfect one menu item at a time and learn who your target audience is early.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I would love to collaborate with Funeral Homes, Party Planners and business corporations.
