Meet Kyle Gines

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kyle Gines. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Kyle with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

I got my work ethic from my parents because they always had a job while I was coming up. I believe if it was not for them, I would not have become the self-reliant individual that I am today. Having that strong work ethic can make multi-tasking different projects that much easier.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m building several brands as we speak, so time is the most sacred commodity right now. I have my catering company, podcast, kids clothing & women’s clothing brands, and being a videographer can drain your day, but I love it though. I’ve been cooking for almost 20 years now, so I think the next move is considering a building location or a food truck and see where that will take me. I also have my podcast titled (Spit your Game/ Talk Yo’ shit) which consists of myself and my co-host Vinny, in which we combine hip-hop culture, barbershop talk, battle-rap culture, and current events and give our opinion on some topics along with having guests on our platform that share their stories about the industry or field that they work in or if they are an entrepreneur and or self-employed. Anybody reading this can become a subscriber to our YouTube channel @Spityogame314 My latest endeavor is creating my kids and women’s clothing brand from the ground up, in which can be stressful dealing with trying to do all of this by myself. My kids clothing brand is definitely inspired by my children, which is titled Da’ Krumsnchaz, I’ve always called my kids crumb snatchers so why not create a brand with a twist. Next up is my women’s clothing brand titled Oyster Water, which just inspired by the woman’s body in more ways than one. These brands will both have merchandise available coming soon in the fall season. I’m also dabbling in photography/video which is becoming a more consistent hobby of mine, since, I’ve always had a camera in my hands even as a kid. At the end of the day, I want to create a studio/compound where I can produce my podcast, have video/photo shoots, and also have space to cook and entertain guests and clients.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I’ve learned to be patient, resourceful, and being a leader has got me to this point in my life and has definitely got me opportunities that I could’ve not gotten on my own if it wasn’t for networking.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

Nowell Gata

He is the reason why I am the why I am because I strive for the professionalism and knowledge he posses. He groomed me I to a better chef and better individual bouncing chef ideas or getting life advice. He is my culinary brother no question
