Meet Kyle Kenny

We recently connected with Kyle Kenny and have shared our conversation below.

Kyle , sincerely appreciate your selflessness in agreeing to discuss your mental health journey and how you overcame and persisted despite the challenges. Please share with our readers how you overcame. For readers, please note this is not medical advice, we are not doctors, you should always consult professionals for advice and that this is merely one person sharing their story and experience.

When I was younger, I struggled with an eating disorder pretty badly. As an adolescent male, this was a confusing, tough time to say the least. I overcame this challenge by dedicating my career to working in the health and fitness industry. Learning all that I can about diets, workouts, nutrition, foods ect.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

At this point, remaining consistent and ensuring my clients continue to progress. I have had a lot of peaks and vallys over the years as a trainer, and at this point, I think being as consistent as possible is going to be the most effective.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Discipline, consistency, growth-mindset. Be hungry and be eager, ask a lot of questions and develop your own style. Take charge and work things analytically and be smart. Grow your paychecks, dont work for free.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?

Someone with a good, friendly personality, that asks questions and is excited to learn more. They have the discipline and follow my instructions for progression for their health and fitness.
