Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kyle Rose. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Kyle with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I get my work ethic from my drive not to be the same as I was the day before. I am always looking for ways to improve and better myself in every capacity. I would say this stems from my background and not having much as a child growing up. I had to always push to get everything, and to this day, I work to take care of those who rely on me. I have big responsibilities and that is what pushes me and builds my work ethic.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
My name is Kyle Rose and I am a cyber-security executive working in the fraud prevention and detection space. I actually went to school for media and communications, however my path changed when a family member of mine and I lost some money to a scam. This was over social media on Instagram. Ever since that experience, I dedicated my time and energy into combating frauds and scams and looking for ways to stop the spread and helping to reduce risk profile. What I feel the most excited about is helping everyday people. Neighbors, co-workers, or even a complete stranger, we are all open and vulnerable to different types of scams and I get a joy in blocking these criminals from reaching the public. What makes us unique is that we approach this problem from two angles. We have a software called ScamBLOX plus that combats the online challenges of frauds and scams, but then we also have a book with our educational avatar called Cyber Ollie’s Ultimate guide to Frauds and Scams. The story behind Cyber Ollie goes back to one of my co-founders Jeff Pledger, who happens to be blind and uses his dog as our “hero” in protecting the vulnerable. Dogs have been man’s best friend since the beginning. They serve to protect. In this fight against fraud and scams, Cyber Ollie and his book does his part to advice, warn and educate the public. Between these two weapons’, we provide a mighty fight against frauds and scams. If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I would say looking back, the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in my journey would have to be:
1. Finding the right cofounders
2. Being aware of the real and constant threat of scams
3. Networking
The best advice I could give is to make sure you work with people who are passionate about what you are doing and care. The right people in your circle make all the difference. I would also say networking is important and there needs to be an effort on your end to approach the right people and put yourself out there.

At CyberAI, we are always looking for partners and people to collaborate with. We have an affiliate program. The goal of this program we built is to spread awareness and to advocate against frauds and scams. This is a community based approach.
